Women are like handphones. Always test before you buy, or commit to sign a contract.

Those two guys who were giving CPR to her must have vomitted this morning when they read the papers.
They thought they were lucky.

The top of the line phones without contracts, are expensive, not within our reach. There is always new version, with newer features, coming out at an alarming frequency...so have to stick with an AFFORDABLE one, with the shortest contract.:D

The Thai “woman” who suffered a cardiac arrest and collapsed at nightspot Zouk on New Year’s Day is actually a man.

This was confirmed in an e-mail to The New Paper from Zouk. He is now fighting for his life at the intensive care unit of the Singapore General Hospital.

The young man, who was dressed in women’s clothing and described as "a very attractive woman", was partying with friends at the popular club on Jiak Kim Street early New Year’s Day when he collapsed, sources said.

Some clubbers said there was no proper crowd control measures. But Zouk’s management told The New Paper that there was no stampede and the nightspot had enough staff members spread evenly throughout the entire complex.

Read the full report in The New Paper on Thursday (Jan 3).

The 26-year-old Thai man (above) who collapsed at nightspot Zouk on New Year's Day is still unconscious in the intensive care unit.

His friend, who wanted to be known only as Miss Ellen, has written in to citizen journalism website Stomp to appeal for witnesses.

The freelance make-up artist known by his nickname, Aum, suffered cardiac arrest after falling in the crowded nightclub at Jiak Kim Street.

He could have died if two strangers had not performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) on him before medical help arrived.

Miss Ellen said Aum, who was dressed as a woman, also has fractured bones and that a bone has punctured his lungs.

She wasn't there with him during the fateful night. But what she gathered from her friends was that three other friends who went with him to Zouk, had lost him in the crowd.

Read the full report in The New Paper on Wednesday (Jan 9).

SINGAPORE: A young Thai man who collapsed after suffering a cardiac arrest at nightclub Zouk's New Year Countdown bash has died.

Mr Anan Tunsuwan, 26, was in a coma for ten days before passing away on Thursday morning at Singapore General Hospital, reported Lianhe Wanbao.

His mother, aunt, two friends and a representative from the Thai Embassy were present.

One of the friends is appealing for eyewitnesses to come forward so that they can understand what exactly happened that night, reported the Chinese evening daily.

Mr Tunsuwan, who was a make-up artist, was dressed in women's clothes while partying with friends at the popular club on Jiak Kim Street early on New Year's Eve.

The New Paper reported that there was redness on his hands, neck and face when he was carried out, unconscious.

Two people were performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) on the unresponsive clubber when the ambulance arrived.

Singapore Civil Defence Force paramedics continued to perform CPR all the way to the hospital. Three other clubbers were also taken to the same hospital with minor injuries, a result of a possible crush within Zouk.

But Zouk's management has said that there was no stampede and there was enough staff members spread evenly throughout the entire complex that night.

Partygoers were there for its star-studded New Year Countdown bash, which featured The Trouse Brothers and Australian-born singer and songwriter Emma Hewitt.
