一 只 or 一 立 egg ?

Do you feel that many SG people are (2), ie, Jack of all trades?
I see them being interviewed on TV, and I shudder.

I'm not sure about the Y generation now, but X generation like us, 8/10 are really bad in Chinese, seriously wtf....

So will the American laugh at British ppl English ? Or English ppl laugh at American English ? Because they speak different English .

Not really they speak more or less the same type of english and it's also established that american, ozzie, england type of english are acceptable.

粒字形字义:形声。字从米,从立,立亦声。“米”指谷籽。“立”指“独立”。“米”与“立”联合起来表示“煮食时仍可分出独立谷籽的主食”。本义:可以分析出独立谷籽的主食。

maybe someone can explain it.

囚 means prisoner. It is pronounced "qiu", like 球.
It has a 人 inside a box/enclosure. So he is imprisoned.

For lovers of 繁体, here is a picture, quite meaningful.
