Only one of seven cashier counters was open, resulting in a long queue. When the cashier didn't give him a valid answer, he ordered the ice cream and placed them on the counter.

It took 42 soft serve cones to 'cool down' a fuming customer.

On Nov 12, a man visited a KFC outlet in Guiyang, Guizhou, China during the busy lunch period.

Although there were many customers, only one out of the seven available cashier counters was open, reported Chinese media.

The man reached the counter after queuing for 15 minutes. He told the employee about the long wait and did not receive a satisfactory answer.

In a fit of anger, he decided to purchase 42 soft serve cones and placed them upside down on the counter.

Some staff members looked at a loss as to how to react to the whole debacle, while some stepped in to stop others from taking photos.

Netizens have uploaded and shared photos of the incident multiple times on various social networking platforms from Weibo to imgur.

KFC China posted a statement on their official Weibo account on Nov 12, apologising for not providing quality service. They also added while they were not trying avoid their mistake, but they hope that others would not waste food in such a manner.

In September, a Beijing man saw an employee preparing burgers without gloves at a KFC outlet in Wuhan. After staff at the outlet did not handle his complaint over food safety adequately, he decided to protect potential customers and warn others about the food by buying 2,000 buckets of chicken.

That is one of the poorest region in china.

He can afford to waste food just because he is angry?

Good public spirited citizen.

We should have these type of people in Singapore to protest in a more subtle sort of way. Today, left and right, we are constantly being bullied by those big organisation with total disregard of service by going for cheap labour or cutting corners but will not hesitate to reward those in the upper echelon with sky high pay.

In big countries, the rich are even richer and the poor even poorer than in small countries like Singapore. No surprise.

Only a moronic Chinaman would give more business to an enterprise as a sign of protest.

This chap probably has antisocial personality disorder.

The result of being overly spoilt as a child and inability to attain emotional maturity.

Over time such people develop a psychiatric conditions known as APD.

Agree . Stupid PRC. Not happy dont Q . More idiot is wasted food. So many poor in China.

He is not stupid. He is sick in the mind. Such people should be permanently warded in psychiatric hospital or prisons so they do not harm themselves or society

I am not condoning such actions but I can guarantee you that the management will tear strips off the store manager. You can't get any worse publicity than this.

I have seen these things happen around the world and it is also known approach to protest bad service in the West. it grabs attention and reflects poorly on the service provider. He chose the cheapest way to get maximum effect.

In Singapore, the have been incidents where business owners have sent staff with bucketloads of coins to change during peak period at bank branch as a sign of protest.

Paying in coins for large puchases is another time honoured protest where service is an issue. And usually the staff have no clue that there a legal limit for accepting the number of coins. Another is parking your car in front of the entrance.

It's the Chinese "face" thing again. Sometimes, they focus so much on it that they do it out of pride or pique. It's good for one to use the brain for logical reasoning first before displaying something emotional.
