I added it to my bucket list this year and decided I might as well get this project going before it's too late. Only $63,500 for EVERYTHING. That's less than the cost of a COE in sinkieland.

I won't be using it on the road much. It will be my toy for track days at http://www.hamptondowns.com/pages/187/track-days.htm

If you don't see me logged on anymore from early next year, you can assume I've had a bad crash.

Bosss Sam,your timing is excellent,by that time pl go freely away as ther wouldn't be much to do anyway, thank you so much for all your hardwork for us.

Tell us where you are buried in NZ..we sent flowers...Merry Christmas!

good choice. i'm getting the scion version. slightly better styling, and the logo is more sporty. toyota logo is synonymous with "3rd world drivers" who just passed their dmv tests.

OK I contribute $19.90 is that in USD, SGD or INR??, please tell me how to pay you without leaving a trace? so that you can buy that car..

what i want for Christmas is to get out of sinkieland as soon as possible, by hook or by crook. not because i have done something wrong( i swear to god ).

but being saboed by lky's cronies over the past 10 years really make me sick.:(

imagine if they can do something cruel to an ordinary folk like me, i believe those in the opposition politics will be far worse, just look at CSJ.

ya, ok, i am sounding negative again, can't help it, those mother fuckers just won't give me a break...

I don't know what you're complaining about. You hob nob with millionaires at the Tanglin Club. You have access to information regarding gold linked funds that the rest of us can only dream about. Many sinkies would love to trade places with you. I suggest you count your blessings instead of being carried away by greed.

hi boss, wise words indeed, but do you know i am quite a broken person spiritually? all thanks to lky's cronies. frankly, i used to talk very fluently but now when i talk to strangers, i stutter...it became my trait and i felt inferior about it.
"emotional imbalance" is the word to describe it. years ago, i visited a senior counsel friend, i didn't confide in him what was done, i just ask him to draft a statutory declaration incase lky's cronies turn the gun. you won't understand what i have been thru, all i can say is his cronies really big time pua chee byes!

Sam my heart is also very itchy with this 86 thingy. Shown mrs and she immediately wanted one. Here it costs around S$100k not bad.

Seek your opinion, its not a fair comparison but in terms of maintenance and trouble free (nothing to do with performance or price because these two items are so obvious) should go for the GT-R or 86?

Well, Sam, at least you will be going out in style. Have a fiery Christmas!

You should know by now that I'm heavily biased in favour of all things Toyota. :p This brand has never let me down based on personal experience. Despite a smear campaign about sticky accelerator pedals and frequent recalls, I trust Toyota to do the right thing. The company has built it's reputation on this sort of trust.

I want something that is cheap and fun to drive and reliable. The Toyota 86 fits the bill. If I smash it, I can buy another one.

The GT-R is in a different price range altogether. It retails at NZD190,000. At that price, I might as well show off and get a Porsche or add a bit more money and get a Ferrari.

Shame on you Sam. Christmas is a time to do something charitable for humanity. Such a fortunate person, such a selfish heart. Tis the season to give to the have-nots.

Cheers!

I have no love for humanity. I do give to animal causes.

Points noted with thanks. Merry and Blessed Christmas.

Excellent choice in a car. Weight balance and handling is worth the money and more already. The creme of toyotas design matched not very close by the mx5 from mazda. Wish I had the funds to do so.

You probably have to order for next Xmas. :)

The standard wait time is 8 months for the standard version. So TRD is going to be much more.
