It's an eerie feeling being custodian of a part of their lives while they were still around.

If I let things run their course, their threads will disappear if no new posts are added after a couple of years.

There are currently 3 on the list with Ramseth being the latest addition.

It's a shame that they don't have internet access from the other side. But who knows.

If you think it's creepy for being the gate keeper, I can be their moderator. Btw, who's the other 2?

I was informed of one via PM and the other I figured out for myself. There could be more. It's not for me to reveal who they are. It wouldn't be nice.

maybe you can create a special status for these users? Something like "inactive" or "permanently archived" or "decommissioned"

Please let me know when the resident putrid cunt Alamaking has passed on. I will donate flowers.....lots of flowers to be laid at groin level. Nothing stinks more than a decaying fat vagina.

let their posts and threads be....they were part of the forum family.

Leave them be. Let their posts and nicks rest in peace. Some forummers may still want to add reputation points to their monikers.

And who knows whether they might post once in a while from the other side?

Yes that's what I was alluding to. If I let the housekeeping script run, there will come a day when many of Ramseth's posts will be permanently deleted from the servers. It doesn't seem like the right thing to do. I wish I'd asked him first.

Just up the word Certified under their moniker and keep their postings. Ramseth had contributed alot of valuable advice in the past.

for those who have contribute well to the forum..
i say we should retain their nick ...
the last thing we want will be for some prick to register an account with the same nick and taint the good name..
now if i am gone.. i would want this nick to be buried with me...
will be good if you can put it in a hall of frame thread though.. :D :D

and for those bad bleat bleat... simply remove their nick...
they are not worth keeping..

Please do not erase Rameth's legacy. :(

You shouldn't say that because many a time, the biggest dickheads here are actually very nice people in real life while the converse is also true.

Take me for example.. I'm one of the nicest, kindest people on earth once I step away from my keyboard.
