went down to throw rubbish. as i was exiting the security gate, 2 Filipino ladies were coming in. because there has already been a break in on my floor and the recent drug bust, everyone in the building in the know is more cautious about who comes and goes , especially if they don't have keys. (there are still plenty of estate agents coming and going...)

so i wasn't going to hold the door open for them, and i asked them politely if they were here to do cleaning (maybe i should not have assumed). anyways they were nice about it, and proceeded to show me that they did indeed have keys.
but what was weird for me was it ended with one of the filipinas saying to me : "don't worry, i'm a PR...."

meaning PRs don't break the law?

its like saying don't worry im rich, so i don't tell lies

opps now lets see who's going to come and get me.... and BTW, i didnt make the above story up..

Its like Jim Carey in 'Dumb And Dumber" when he ran pass the airport air bridge and said ' Don't worry Im the limo driver'.

Same same.

then you say, you are a PR, that is exactly why i am worried.

Pinoys: Don't worry, I'm PR

Raiders: Yeah, Prostitutes and Robbers

meaning PRs don't break the law?

All PRs are very carefully screened by the govt before they are granted residency. The chances of them committing any crimes is therefore much lower.

you should ask yourself this same question too.

Are all Pinoys cleaners and criminals? Or

Do all Singaporeans like to stereotype and not respect certain groups of people?

Or do all those who come from a poorer countries criminals?

Or are all poor people criminals?
