Back then it was a familiar sight seeing our local Ah Lians, Minahs or Malaysians working in Macdonalds as Restaurant Managers.. Now hardly see locals as managers at Macdonalds.. Pinoys Managers everywhere..

My Primary school Ah Beng friend rose from being a Mac kitchen staff to restaurant manager.. He was working part time at an outlet since his Sec school days.. Then quit school and worked full time before entering NS.. Upon completing NS, he went back to Mac when they offered him a manager's post due to his past experience.. Worked there for few more years before resigning to start his own catering business..

yes i knew a beng back then who worked his way up and got sent to Hamburger university in US even.....but with FTs all over the place now i doubt you get to hear of such local success stories now

Part of the reason my Ah beng friend quit was because of the many FT crew that Mac hired.. First it was the Pinoys, then they began hiring PRCs.. A Pinoy manager was also promoted ahead of him even though that Manila fucktard was only working in Spore for less than 3 years.. Disgusted, he then resigned and is now a small boss himself in his catering biz..
