Like french and italian are both europeans but nobody calls them europeans what. They call them by their respective country's name french and italian. All the hindus valley kingdoms were convinently grouped as indians but they are very different from one another.

Even if that person is not Indian, it is not racist simply to point out defects and criticise, particularly if it is done in good taste and with good intentions. But to refer to entire community with one sweeping statement is stupid. You can refer to some people, their bad behaviour but cannot say everyone is like that....

I suspect some Indian sinkies are also openly jealous about the higher incomes and positions occupied by Indian newcomers while they remain stuck. Unlike Chinese sinkies, they are not able to leverage their ethnic connections and rise up because India is also very slow in opening up business areas to foreigners plus is more backward compared to China.
