My spouse and I had a good time visiting Perth and Adelaide recently.

We visited Monarto Open Zoo near Adelaide. We saw some painted dogs and were told that these dogs hunt together and cared for each other. When they killed a prey, the dogs will eat as much as they can. When they return to their community, they will vomit out their kill to feed the old dogs, the weak dogs, the sick dogs and the puppies. We were touched and impressed that even animals like the painted dogs cared for the aged, the weak, th sicka nd the young.

Does the pap care for aged Singaporeans, weak Singaporeans, sick Singaporeans? It reminds me of how the pap scorned at Mdm Koh SH

According to leongsam, the "laws of nature" would cease to function if dogs did not compete against one another for food.

you believe LeongSam?

the caring nature of the painted dogs impressed me a lot

The laws of nature dictates that animals of the same species do not kill each other.
They help each other and hunt together for food and share the food.
But there are one kind of species called parasites that do nothing and live off the host.
Some parasites can even produce enzymes that control the brain function of the host,
making the host do it's bidding until it died.
One example of such mind controlling parasites that does exist in the human world and is known as the pappies.
In the parasites world, there is no meaning for help, care or share. Such words do not exist in their dictionary.
They are only concerned with the economic value the host can produce, and how much nutrient the host can produce for them.
They will feed on their host when the host is very young, at the same time, mind controlling the host to work for them.
When the host is old and weak, they will just leave him but the host will continue to work until it died, because the host had
been brainwashed to work non-stop.
Such is the twisted side of mother nature.

Species adapt in order to survive. There's a very interesting article in wiki about painted dogs. You should read it if you have the time.

Humans care for each other too when circumstances warrant such care..eg threats from another species. It's all about adaptability in order to ensure long term survival.

The day when we see Singaporeans behaving like painted dogs is not that far away.

good write-up. makes a lot of sense.

I fully agree with your below write-up on the PAP:

Thanks for the link to the painted dog write-up.

I am just disgusted comparing the inhuman behaviour and greed of the pap as opposed to an animal like the painted dog

many singaporeans are voluntarily helping out disadvantaged singaporeans. We hope that the day will come when a caring Singapore political leader assumes Premiership and reach out to care for the fatherless, the widows, the weak and the sick
