Any soups' fans out there ?

I love soups, especially those creamy ones like from Campbell Soup.

Anyway, a great episode from Seinfeld about the Soup Nazi, which is based on a real person.

is it? very warming to the stomach indeed...you didn't post the lotus root soup photo, that is another common favourite soup..one more is bitter gourd soup..

looks delicious..30 mins for 3 dishes include preparation? so fast..

Yeah, not difficult to prepare. I cut up all the ingredients before she came home. She just need to do the frying. The soup we only cook for 30mins. Apple and pear with lean meat, dried fig and almond seed. If I had bought spare ribs, it would have been tastier.

I do the washing. I know how to do all the housework at home. But I'm lucky to have a wife who knew how to do all the housework as well.

I normally do that. But for this dish, I forgot as it was a last minute decision to change from fried cabbage.

Oh, that depends if you are buying the MaLaysian ones; which are usuaLLy soiLed, or the China imported types.
i personaLLy prefer the MaLaysian ones, which give off that whiff of pungency in your Lotus soup..;)
Of course you need to put in some extra effort to remove the m&ds' thats covering them.

There's a few stalls at Raffles Place selling these kind of soups. Business damn good. Heard its owned by the same owner.
