I think moral of the story is that you have no heart, kindness and care in you. It is a real disgusting act for you to post his family's photo on the forum. When they are innocent. You are also hiding your face. If you think you are better than him, why not post your own photo, with YOUR FAMILY members and YOUR friends? Hiding behind and doing this "internet CSI" stuff just shows that you are no better than him. What's going through your brain? laksaboy? Too much laksa? You are right, you are no genius, hence you found out his background and post without thinking. Seriously, who do you think you are to dig out people who are not related to the incident? SINGAPORE - Dr Ivan Ngeow Ko Yen, who pleaded guilty to exposing himself to a 19-year-old female undergraduate, was sentenced to a year's probation and ordered to do 60 hours of community service.

Local news sources reported that district judge Francis Remedios also ordered the doctor to attend psychiatric follow-ups determined by the Institute of Mental Health.

He must also attend offence-specific treatment offered by the Ministry of Community Development, Youth and Sports and stay home between 10pm and 6am.

Ngeow had dressed up as a female student from Victoria Junior College student in August 2010, according to the victim. He then flashed his genitals at the undergrad when she was had entered the lift on her way home.

His wife was ordered to place a $5,000 surety bond for his good behaviour during his probabtion. Ngeow can resume work at the hospital.

Ngeow's lawyer Thangavelu also said that his client has been cross-dressing secretly since he was nine, but has been making good progress in his current treatment. He added that a jail term would disrupt his progress.

SINGAPORE: A cross-dressing doctor was put on probation for one year on Tuesday for insulting the modesty of a 19-year-old undergraduate.

Ivan Ngeow Ko Yen, 37, had admitted in March to dressing up as a Victoria Junior College student and lifting his skirt to expose his genitals to the girl in August 2010.

Ngeow, a geriatric medicine doctor at Changi General Hospital, appeared in court on Tuesday, accompanied by his wife and other family members.

To avoid the media, he changed tops twice and donned a cap and windbreaker when he left the court.

Ngeow declined to comment when approached by reporters.

In sentencing, district judge Francis Remedios said he accepted the probation officer's "very comprehensive report" which had thoroughly assessed any risk of Ngeow re-offending.

Ngeow must also follow conditions stated in the report, which include psychiatric follow-ups determined by the Institute of Mental Health and 60 hours of community service.

He must also attend specific programmes with the Community Development, Youth and Sports Ministry and stay at home from 10pm to 6am.

His wife has been ordered to place a S$5,000 surety bond.

In the meantime, Ngeow can continue his work at the hospital.
