Re: A Wolf In Sheep's Skin

boss,
there were a number of threads that were posted previously, folks even critiqued on the feasibility of the solutions proposed. me also started a thread soliciting the solutions recently, but no viable solution that is concrete at this point in time :(:(:(

First step to problem resolution is that we recognise that it is a problem. Do the parties agree that they are on the same page? Does the pap recognise that there is a problem?

do you think what I raised are valid?

Does the pap recognise that there is a problem?

in the original 12 points you've raised in post 1 of this thread, me do share similar sentiments, else why did me start the thread on "the city state". agree with you that the recognition of the problem is the first step in correcting it. alas me not PAP, so very hard to answer your last question :o:o:o

I agree we cant answer for the pap. But we can assess whether the pap recognises that it is a problem through its remedial action plan.

For example, the pap thinks that the solution to solving the greying of SG is the continued importation of foreign migrants. Do you share the pap's solution to the problem?

Re: A Wolf In Sheep's Skin

don't think so, my views hasn't changed much :o:o:o

I agree with you that the pap's proposal to continue to import foreigners will not solve the population problem or TFR problem. At most, it will give singapore some reprieve but it will create other social problems

a pretty PRC admin lady just stripped off her underwear and sat on the throne to ease herself without closing the toilet cubicle door because many China toilets have no door. She was unfazed to be bottomless, spread on the toilet seat. Would any SG gal not be appalled? Such is the great divide between SG Chinese and PRCs.

Weird. The world has crossed the MILLENIUM year 2000 ! OMG ! They are not suitable here. Why don't the govt import more Japs or Taiwanese ? We can learn much from them instead.

Singapore is importing 3rd world migrants because the pap is addicted to and benefiting from cheap labour. That's bad for Singapore ...

Re: A Wolf In Sheep's Skin

You are too optimistic to think that the Lees are innocent. I heard some rumours that Tat Lee did not have what it takes to be a bank (the license should be given to Hong Leong instead). Hong Leong Finance is not a bank status. Tat Lee became the 'bank' instead. We need to know the two's capitalization structure first. From here, we can roughly tell what was really going on at that time (70s or 60s ?).

Did SIT (pre-HDB) need any lawyer's signature to seal any flat's purchase ? Who will benefit from all these deals ?

It wasn't the swelling ego. It was his impatience and stupidity that revealed his true intent - son will be Kim Jong Il of Lion City. Cao Cao didn't usurp the throne but his son, Cao Pi did. It's just a matter of time that some sheep will see through the wolf's camouflage - a wolf in sheep's skin.

Do you actually believe the above statement ? The parliament is just another show for daft Sinkies.

These are good background news.

bro,

there are many things that me ain\'t savvy
for there are information where me ain\'t privy
making them innocent gives me no incentives
just portraying them from me own perspectives
there are certainly flaws waiting to be corrected
for folks who are savvy and privy had now detected
please spare no effort to guide me along the way
and me would be sure we\'ll enjoy a brighter day

Tay Ping Hui took two awards from fascist media company - his due rewards as grassroot helper or something. It is just another excuses to tell you right in your face that if you don't produce, sorry no can do and they will continue to import them in large quantity.

Third world fellas are very loyal to PAP. They thank them and worship them like gods. If they ever get into trouble with Sinkies, you can be sure these assholes will help them. Sinkies can be sure to be on the other side of the fence to be whacked by PAP snakes.

Will they convert themselves from PR to 'citizens' ... very hard to say. But, the recent policy seems to be working.

You are correct. The pap knows that it is losing support from Singaporeans. Instead of asking themselves why they are losing support, in order to retain power, the pap chooses to turn to other strategies to counter the loss of support ..One strategy is to import third world cheap labour whom the pap hopes will be loyal to them. But that strategy is only short term. If the pap doesnt change, soon these cheap foreign labour will be disillusioned and will hate the pap too...

Like so many of its bad policies, this strategy to turn to cheap foreigners to retain power will backfire in the long term. The wiser move is to truly search their souls and know why Singaporeans are so anti-pap. the pap has to go and solve the root cause..not just treat the symptoms

Singapore isn't anti-PAP. 39.9% of Singapore is anti PAP and that's because they don't have the brains to know any better.

60.1% know that while not all policies are popular, it doesn't alter the fact that many painful policies have to be executed for the long term good of the country. Surgical procedures aren't pleasant either but they save the lives of many.

In life, things that feel good might give short term gratification but will kill you in the long run. I'm happy to see that the PAP has the guts and gumption to implement what is right rather than what is popular.

what you quoted was history. 39.9% voted against the pap in May 2011. That was a year ago. The pap knows since this year many have seen through the pap's bad governance and incompetence. Many Singaporeans are against the pap now.

dont talk when you dont know the true ground sentiments and no one will know that you are ignorant. open your mouth and you reveal your stupidity

Clap! Clap! Clap! That idiot is thousand of miles away in NZ but want to talk as if he knows everything about S'pore.

In any case, not all the 60% who voted for the PAP are pro-PAP. Quite a sizable voted for them simply out of fear. Many are still not convinced that our votes are secret. And after seeing what LKY had done to those (where even their family members were not spared) who went against him, they would want to pre-empt any of that. If you strip that off the 60%, probably PAP had only about 35% of the people's support. The Presidential Election was a better gauge of the people's sentiments actually with Tony Tan the obvious PAP candidate garnering only 33%.

As World Millionaires Multiply, Singapore Holds Its Lead

Overall, global wealth grew fastest in the Asia Pacific region last year. North America came in second
By Venessa Wong

Singapore seems modest by some measures: Median income among working households was only about S$5,700 (about US$4,500) in 2010, according to the Singapore Department of Statistics. Yet in this small island nation of only 5 million, known for extravagant shopping, high-end restaurants, and draconian chewing-gum laws, nearly one in every six households has more than $1 million in assets, making it the densest population of wealthy households in the world, according to a new report by Boston Consulting Group.

Obviously, the PAP must be doing something right. The increasing number of millionaires in Singapore speaks for itself.

LKY Is A Great Man. PAP Is The Best!

Painful policies include making the poor poorer and the rich richer and housing and private transport totally out of reach for the masses. I must congratulate this Govt for its brilliance.
