A Wolf In Sheep's Skin

a master and his family lived happily in the past
they had a servant and his child to help with simple tasks
the servant work diligently and earn the respect due
time went by pride went up just like the morning hue
for the servant had done his job so well
its apparent that his ego began to swell

You are too optimistic to think that the Lees are innocent. I heard some rumours that Tat Lee did not have what it takes to be a bank (the license should be given to Hong Leong instead). Hong Leong Finance is not a bank status. Tat Lee became the 'bank' instead. We need to know the two's capitalization structure first. From here, we can roughly tell what was really going on at that time (70s or 60s ?).

Did SIT (pre-HDB) need any lawyer's signature to seal any flat's purchase ? Who will benefit from all these deals ?

It wasn't the swelling ego. It was his impatience and stupidity that revealed his true intent - son will be Kim Jong Il of Lion City. Cao Cao didn't usurp the throne but his son, Cao Pi did. It's just a matter of time that some sheep will see through the wolf's camouflage - a wolf in sheep's skin.

Do you actually believe the above statement ? The parliament is just another show for daft Sinkies.

bro,

there are many things that me ain\'t savvy
for there are information where me ain\'t privy
making them innocent gives me no incentives
just portraying them from me own perspectives
there are certainly flaws waiting to be corrected
for folks who are savvy and privy had now detected
please spare no effort to guide me along the way
and me would be sure we\'ll enjoy a brighter day

Good account of the schemes of LKY...dont forget the Nassim Jade saga and many more. Also the blatant rescind of estate duties when KGC was on her death bed.

It marvels me how a man can be so blatant with misdeeds and no one in the SG Cabinet dared to speak up against him.

He thinks that he can get away...but I am afraid for him when he faces his Creator

Re: A Wolf In Sheep's Skin

When I started this thread abt four months ago, MRT disruptions were rare and infrequent. Now, MRT disruptions happen almost every week and LTY has the audacity to say that disruptions are unvoidable. How far down the slope shd we descend to and accept that as normal. Singaporeans shd hold the pap to the excellent standards expected of SG. Otherwise we may soon become a third rate country.

The MRT disruptions, road congestions, hospital bed shortages are obvious failures that the pap cant hide. That's why we know abt them. How abt the less obvious failures such as:

1. Widening income gap
2. More poor Singaporeans who have descended into poverty
3. Increasing number of unemployed Singaporeans
4. Increased SG household who have less than $1500 monthly income
5. Increased crime rate in SG
6. Low health care personnel's morale
7. Increased resignation rate of teachers
8. Increased loan shark activities
9. Increased vices
10. Increased gambling addiction
11. Increased loan sharks who are young teenagers
12. Increased divorce rate
13. Increased social problems
14. Increased suicide rate

There are many things not going well but are covered up by the pap and SG media. If most of these are exposed, the pap would be voted out. I hope the Opposition and NCMPs can ask the correct questions and compel the pap to reveal more abt the true situation in SG.

With so many systemic problems and so many pap policy failures, are we not seeing "the Crumble of Singapore?"

15] increasing stupidity and timidness of sinkies

:o  :(

on the contrary, I think Singaporeans are now more vocal and knowledgeable.

That's why the pap cant bluff Singaporeans anymore and is finding that Singaporeans are quite discerning nowadays.

kudos to Singaporeans. The pap is on a one-way ticket to be booted out. Unthinkable 10years ago. But a reality soon

I posted at another thread of how visionary u are in starting this Crumbling of Singapore thread back in Dec 2011. Since then, many things had happened all of which undoubtedly point to the failures of the PAP policies. The PAP got away with their perverse policies for too long already but alas, things are coming together now and that's why every day we have an incident of such nature. Your postings here are beginning to be prophetic in fact.

On the contrary.. Singapore is growing rapidly and the future is very bright.

You should stop making baseless statements with no facts and figures whatsoever to back you up and rely instead on independent research done by the experts.

Thank you for your compliments.

All it takes to see through the pap's schemes is to read inbetween the lines, see deeper into their policies and you know the flaws.
Some of the detrimental PAP policies which will cause the Crumbling of Singapore are:

1. The pap sees its role as mainly money making...the pap wants to make as much money as possible even at the expense of its citizens and even if their money making causes big social problems in the future.

2. Self serving policies rather than country and people serving (I will start a new thread on this topic under "Web of Deceit?")

3. Casinos bring in revenues but kill many Singaporeans, families, affect work ethos, increases crimes and vices

4. PAP pays to get yes-men...inbreeding, nepotism and cronyism kill Singapore in the long term.

5. Control of media serves the short term good of the PAP but kills SG in the long term. Any responsible and good govt would want its citizens to know the truth so that together, we can all work for the country's goods. A good govt , like a good parent, wld not want to deny information to its citizens and its loved ones.

6. Diluting its citizens with 3rd world migrants will level down the social behaviour of the country.

The "Crumbling of Singapore" is imminent

Yeahhhh...

It's hard to be "constructive" when you're doing nothing more than criticising the hard work of others from the safety of a keyboard and a comfy chair.

While the whinging losers are writing half baked essays about how bad Singapore is, PAP members are on the ground doing the hard yard to make the lives of Singaporeans better.

In meantime, the armchair critics forget that if it wasn't for the PAP, they wouldn't have the luxury of time or the finances to spew their nonsense here in the first place.

Re: A Wolf In Sheep's Skin

An issue that may cause the Crumbling of SG is the huge influx of PRCs. The influx has caused many social problems which the pap is trying desperately to mitigate.

On one end are the PRCs. They come from poor villages, unused to sophisticated city life, bring in their bad habits and idiosyncracies and 3rd world mentality. I was told by a friend that she was shocked when a pretty PRC admin lady just stripped off her underwear and sat on the throne to ease herself without closing the toilet cubicle door because many China toilets have no door. She was unfazed to be bottomless, spread on the toilet seat. Would any SG gal not be appalled? Such is the great divide between SG Chinese and PRCs. Singaporeans are also perturbed by the littering, jumping of queues and talking loudly by these PRCs.

On the other end are SG Chinese. These Singaporeans are used to conversing in English and are not comfortable to speak to the new PRC migrants who can only speak in their native heavily accented mandarin. The PRCs looked pissed by these Chinese Singaporeans who prefer to use English in SG to the extent that the PRCs despise the local Chinese. This can be a serious problem because the locals will not take it lightly as the PRCs are in SG and not China and it is incumbent for themj to assimilate rather than they expect Singaporeans to accommodate them.

These have caused some friction among the local Chinese and PRC migrants. The PAP has its work cut out for its bad policy of liberally letting in so many foreigners, thinking that it is a panacea to SG's problems. Instead this will bring more problems to SG.

We need to continue to speak up against bad pap policies that will cause SG's demise. Do not grow tired of doing what's right. Persevere for SG!!!

erm... can offer workable solutions right?:confused::confused:

These armchair critics have no solutions to anything.

Thanks to the PAP, they have the time and money to sit around doing nothing constructive. Instead, they idle away the hours taking unwarranted pot shots at the very govt that created the good life for them in the first place.

boss,
there were a number of threads that were posted previously, folks even critiqued on the feasibility of the solutions proposed. me also started a thread soliciting the solutions recently, but no viable solution that is concrete at this point in time :(:(:(

for a moment me thought you had raise so many problems that points to the crumbling of Singapore. hmm...

Yes, I raised the problems that I think show that SG will crumble if the problems get worse. do you think what I raised are valid?
