Once upon a time, there was a Jap chap in Florida going to a party in a friend's home. He lost his way and knocked on the wrong gate. The irrate resident came out with his rifle and told him to freeze, then fuck off. The Jap chap couldn't understand English and kept asking for direction. The Yank chap could neither stand nor understand his Jap. So the Yank chap opened fire and the Jap chap was dead. Case closed. Misunderstanding and misadventure.

That was a real case. But we all didn't really know what the Jap uttered as the Yank himself couldn't understand or translate. He just told police that it sounded like his life and property were threatened, so he pulled the trigger. That's legal in USA by Bill Of Rights 2nd Ammendment unless you can prove alternative motive.

To add, I think Japs are very good at science but very bad at commonsense. He was just a student, about 20 when he was shot dead.

Now it's actually common sense. You see someone at your front gate a stranger and you're pissed so ok you bring out your gun. I'm sure even if you don't know what he's saying to you you can tell whether said person at your front gate is someone that's looking for trouble for has some queries. It's the same exact thing for the person at the front gate. Ok he rang the wrong house, shouldn't he walk off when he sees that the person that answered the front gate isn't the person he's looking for and even worse armed with a gun? I'm very sure he was warned with the gun before a shot was fired at him. It just looks really far fetched that he could have provoked the man armed with a gun to actually shoot him.

Actually come to think of it if you really want to be a man's man you should be ungroomed with a pretty rough/ugly looking face. I dare say the tough guys in action movies of yesteryear like jean claude van damme looked like a groomed man with muscles. When arnold acted as conan don't you think he looked a bit too clean to actually have been a barbarian. The one that potrayed a barabarin properly was mel gibson when he acted as william wallace.

Barley
I watched a docu and it mentioned that gladiators were fed with only barley. Barley fattened them up. Fat layer is important for any combatant. It's a layer of protection from a direct impact from a sharp weapon. Roman soldiers ate it for strength.

I think a true real legitimate tough guy wouldn't be good looking enough for the cameras. Seriously look at the ordinary solders and all they don't look like movie stars or what not and i bet some of them don't even have big muscles. Seriously i don't think barbarians back in the day had body builder physiques.
