Regardless of the advancement in photographic and cinematographic technology since the 1970s, nobody has been able to reproduce or match the Bruce Lee fight scenes.

There are lots of ppl that want to put down bruce lee and i have no doubt that part of the reason is because he's chinese.

If bruce is simply hype and not talent why did hollywood promote an asian during a time in the 70s when only white men not even black men ONLY white american men could make it big? Even today yes even today try being an asian and try to make make it as a leading star in hollyood and ppl will be laughing at you yes even TODAY.

Next like wat ram has mentioned did u know that bruce lee was so fast that they needed to slow down his movements so that his moves could be seen by the audiences.

Seriously the fact of the matter is bruce being a chinese is what makes ppl don't really believe he was the greatest. Does anybody question pele or michael jordan? Now just change pele or mj to chinese and do you think ppl would question them? 100% they would even chinese themselves. If bruce lee was a keling you would see indians praising not only him but themselves to the skies let's be honest and not take away his contribution. Asian that became a leading man in a racist environment during racist times. Asian that has talents that are still not able to be replicated even today.

you wanted to make me happy so that i could not sleep again ? . personally the best places to punch would be either in the lips, or bridge of the nose. these contain the most nerve endings, and should well up his eyes making visibility hard.
the perfect combo would be a jab to the lips/nose, a pretty hard jab to the solar plexus, followed by a full body weight punch with either elbow/fist to the side of jaw/head.
if you manage to land all 3 well...that guy will regret going out of his house that day .

tony ja is good. No doubt about it. That movie ong bak is the sole reason why he's world renowned. There's a problem though. He doesn't have looks, he doesn't know how to act and he sure as hell doesn't know how to direct. Did you know he actually directed ong bak 2 and 3 and had some say in directing those 2 movies and what were they? Failures. Those 2 sequels are bringing him down but then again he never really had much to offer. He's a glorified stuntman with some fighting skills. Is he a good muay thai fighter? Nope he's not try buakaw a real K1 fighter. He's more skilled in muay boran and acrobatic type of tricks. Tony ja doesn't have the looks. Bruce lee is much more handsome than him obviously. Other than being in a martial arts movie ja has 0 acting skills and 0 charisma.

Well the problem is you aren't there to physically experience it yourself so of course you won't be able to comment on it but the fact of the matter is many ppl are looking at bruce lee and so far nobody has come out to say his 1 inch punch is not powerful as it is. Well every since bruce lee has there been another asian martial arts star like him? In fact any at all even the ang moh ones? The answer is no. I'm sure some asian has been thinking yeah if only i could get some white director to observe my skills just like bruce lee and i can make it big in hollywood like bruce. Well has there? Look if it was just down to PR skill there would have been someone else emulating bruce lee but has there? The answer is no. This proves that bruce was 100% talent, skill and dedication. Something like michael jordan. You don't see any random black b-ball player with skills and mind you in the us there are tons and tons of that around becoming like mj. Seriously many ppl have questioned about bruce lee but so far if he's just show and not really skill why not you see someone emulate him?

To be fair jackie already had quite a large following when he made his SECOND appearance in the US. His first foray into the US with the racing movie cannonball run failed terribly.

Mr ja made it world wide and was especially known to western audiences with that very 1st movie ong bak. His first movie ok. I like his other movie tom yung goong or the protector in the US but the rest of his movies especially the ong bak sequels all sucked ass.

If you want to talk about not being accepted cos of racial reasons in the US then you are totally barking up the wrong tree. Jackie chan or jet li definitely don't belong to the correct race. To belong to the correct race you have to be either an anglo ang moh or a jew and to a lesser extent a black african american and then again unless you are a true black african american you'll only make it big in the music business and not in the movie business. So to answer your question yes tony obviously isn't the correct race just like both jackie and the other chinese stars but they have it more made compared to tony so it's nothing to do with race at all.

Bro between the one who changed the world in many ways is Bruce Lee. Thus in terms of making a difference it has to be Bruce Lee by a long while. Here are the things that Bruce Lee led or influenced.

1) Brought Chinese cinema to the fore
2) A Chinese can be formidable opponent off the screen
3) Led to a massive boom in chinese martial arts across the western word from NZ to Canada. Every kid black, white and blue wanted to learn martial arts and their mums were keen.
4) His form of Martial arts jumped a couple of rungs to the top. In unarmed combat, it was the most feared
5) He was never recognised as an entertainer which is funny when it all began with movies but as phenomenal tour de force as an individual and a person who made a difference
6) Chinese were no longer seen as wimps to many in the physical space.

I have no doubt that Jackie Chan is a phenomenal actor, highly entertaining, wonderfully choreographed and executed stunts, attracts a wider audience than Bruce Lee will ever hope.

But bear this in mind, nobody from a 5 year old kid to a 70 year old man or woman will sport a t-shirt with Jackie Chan face on it. No momentos or collectors items will be made of him, nobody will claim him as their role model, their star. We all love ice cream but only a few will know what a Cabernet Savignon is. One is class and one is common.

Frankly there is no comparison between the two where the wider world is concerned. Forget about te 1 inch punch which is bullshit and scientifically improbable, forget about fighting ten men. It about which man changed the world.

Bruce Lee movies are boring to watch. I love Jackie Chan movies, great stunts he performed.

Bruce Lee is a martial artist, Jackie Chan an entertainer. Cannot compare one.

I think his 1 inch punch is solely for bruce to use not for anyone else. As for questioning bruce lee's legend there's always talk on him on movie forums like imdb, mma forums like sherdog, bb.com and many more. He's bruce lee, he's well known world wide. Ppl talk about him. He's scrutinized all the time. His physical stats and feats are well known. Another reason i find ppl questioning bruce lee's legitimacy simply cos he's chinese is this. Look at the chuck norris jokes. Now ppl have been making chuck norris jokes on how awesome he is and what a good fighter he is but yet he lost to bruce lee and was bruce's student. Shouldn't the jokes be on bruce lee instead of chuck? Of course not. Chuck was a white man while bruce wasn't. Seriously i don't even think chuck norris is anything special. i think one inch punch is bullshit . he is actucally using his body weight to push that punch rather then his fist ( if you see the video of his one inch punch you will see his body pushing forward ) .the reason why ppl swing before punching is to transfer the speed into energy so that the punch will be stronger . im 100% sure if he is still alive and young ..he still cant beat today MMA fighter ...trust me . hes overrated by the chinese and angmo

Hey anyone is free to disprove it. Who doesn't know about the 1 inch punch? Who is unable to find it online for example. This is different from a religion. yes , i kind of know something about sport science ...cause we use sport science to train MMA too in fact most of the sports man are using sport science to train . but there is a limited power of kinetic chain . yes its too drama about the one inch punch .

Try telling that to screwball. He would have put down bruce lee were it not for the fact that it's quite impossible to put him down so he chose something like the 1 inch punch to put down. Of course he didn't need to have any evidence to prove it's fake he just needs to say it's fake and use his "influence" as screwball to do it.

FYI if bruce lee was an indian then all of a sudden you would see a 180 degree change in him and screwball would say the 1 inch punch is 100% true just make bruce lee an indian.
