SIA is getting from bad to worse to worsest (as Lim Swee Say will put it). I've stopped traveling on SQ as the seat is cramped and food is bad. Service is getting worse and only good occasionally. The thing that frustrates me the most is the code share with cheap airlines that packs the plane and bring in rowdy passengers who pays a fraction of the price I paid. I'm better off with ANA, EVA and Korean Air. Nowadays, I fly Air China which has great wide seats, good food and pretty girls.

SQ is no longer selling service/ quality of travel. It's full profit driven now. Scholars only know how to look at numbers and are destroying the legacies left by pioneer leaders.

Unions are controlled by PAP lah. The last time SQ union spoke, Lee CON U slapped them hard. The union chief was crucified publicly and lots of trouble followed. You think anyone dare to mess with the PAP again?

Too many expensive pilots get canned. These Ah Neh pilots probably are paid on India wage scale plus some top-ups when they fly SQ planes.

If they can put 24 Pilots from vistara it shows that SIA is once again fucked by TATA. Vistara is not doing well.

The cabin crew will fret. They will need to roster themselves to service these pilots during the flight. Whisky consumption will rise. Scoot reputation will dive further. All in all good for competitors.
