EP is supposed to be non-partisan. Everyone seem to understand that and that includes all political parties. SPP, WP, SDP, NSP, PKMS, etc. A candidate who wants to stand for EP must resign from political parties. There is no party whip in play and every person has the freedom to do what he wants with the EP. People from the same party are supporting different candidates and that should already give a clue even if you are born dense.

Already we have morons who think that President has executive power. Now this. WP and others have already made the stand on the concept of EP.

Despite all this we all know they are all working behind the scenes to ensure that TT does not make it. Unfortunately they cannot openly tell morons what they are doing.

Though they call to abolish it but it can only be done with a strategy which is to put a non-PAP EP in first. That will land the ball in PAP feet to kick the ball back. Talk only is good like act blur in this time of hustling!

Time for them to make some noises, act blur and jiak leow bee at this time is useless.

Let me get this straight. You are saying that they should support (by backing a non PAP EP) something which they have publicly opposed, during the GE. And this brilliant strategy will then make the PAP abolish the EP. What the .....

EP, in this case, is not 'carry babies', charity shows and cho boh lan kaki. It has a function to safe guard Singaporean CPF monies locked by PAP and poor investments gambled by GIC TT . EP has changed its main purpose and become a political tool, in time to come, if PAP become an Opposition in the future.

Besides there are 4 choices to choose from in this hustling. If there are choices there are opportunities in this hustling. Everything involves round politics and there is office politic to deal with among rivials even in a small biz office environment.

Yes, it is not a poltical contest but a political environment involving handling monies to gahment.

Why must WP butt in to this? This is not a political party contest.

Perhaps they would not or should not comment as a party. But it would be interesting to see who the individuals stars there support. Elected leaders of the ruling party have made their views heard. The elected leaders of the opposition should too at some point... Quite strange to remain silent on a major national issue like this, which happens once in 18yrs.

TJS said he is in PE to raise the Opposition profile, and naturally his. Getting the elusive COE, albeit with an untold blessing from Establishment to run, makes it an even better opportunity to raise profile and prepare for GE2016. AND if one notice, SDP's Chee is absent in all these campaigning.

These 7 WP masketeers (with $15,000 a month pay checks MPs) are keeping quite in this EP election.

Silence is not golden in this case. It is either they are 'for it' or 'againt it' on any of the candidates? This is national issue and an important event only happen every 6 years!

Either they show your fangs now to support one of the candidates, like PAP did to TT, and not act dumb or selfish in this time of hustling.

After is over WP (an all Oppo paries leaders) shall lose the people's respect for keeping quite and act like 'blur kings' and jiak leow bee. Surely they can do their parts in this hustling period which PAP had done to support TT.

the WP MPs now officially entered parliament house, so they must not take sides, or it will cause damage not only on the candidate they endorse, but also themselves.
