PAP had recently unveiled of 4 minority candidates with rather impressive credentials and Hri Kumar recent talk of 'GRC is needed to protect minority interests' are carefully orchestrated move designed to attack opposition weak points in their minority candidates department. WP countered by unveiling these 2 minority candidates is no mere coincident.

WP is never the type to be led by PAP. LP has been around for some time according to TOC. So happens that the media needs to make some news to avoid being seen as bias, and appeared at some events and spotted some faces they recognized. Unlike PAP, these WP chaps did no interviews. You can tell by this remarkable difference.
This is a another coup for the Hammers in recruiting a credible candidate like Mr Leon Perera..
WP used to scrape the bottom of the barrel when recruiting future GE candidates..
Thats why the likes of Parrot Man Zeng Gouyan managed to fight in a GE under the Hammers banner at one point of time in their colourful lives..
Now not anymore.. Now its the Pappy's turn to scrape the bottom of the barrel to recruit greedy opportunistic men and women into their elite scumbag party.. These people know the instant riches that awaits them when joining in the PAP.. Its not because of serving the people but serving their self interests..
The more high profile candidates they managed to recruit into their Party, the better the chances of the Workers Party to win few more GRCs in 2016.. The tide is turning slowly but surely in WP's favor..

East Coast GRC is ripe for the picking.. WP has been working hard in that ward even before the 2006 GE..
They must put put a Malay and an Indian candidate with a credible background in their East Coast team and the Malay votes would swing to WP's favour in 2016... This is what happened in Aljunied GRC during the 2011 GE when Malay residents from Kaki Bukit ward and Eunos ward voted for Mr Abdul Manap and Pritam Singh...
East Coast must be obtained at all cost especially since Bedok South is the home ground of the PAP's HQ..
i sincerely hope that JC-SMC will go to opposition in next GE. based on my previous kopi sessions around EC-GRC and MP-GRC, ground shaky for MIW, tapi bo bao jiak.
Yes another ward is the Joo Chiat SMC.. Look out for Tampines GRC and Pasir Ris Punggol GRC..Interesting times in store for the PAP if the WP make their entry in these 2 wards in the next GE..

Uncle GD, this is what I fear too.. I hope good sense prevails.. GMS might disagree with me, but WP should be contesting in Tampines in 2011 instead of NSP.. MBT's balls were there for the plucking in 2011.. He was already on precarious ground and the chance to kick out that useless short hainanese bastard was lost forever..
Too many cooks spoil the broth.. This is not arrogance coming from a WP supporter like me, but in this present political climate, WP is the only Oppo party that is able to pose a serious threat to PAP..
