Yes. I hope there will be a by election for SengKang GRC. Will PAP dare push for it? Remember what happened at Hougang and Punggol East by elections?agree. no major damage done. in fact WP should trigger a by erection to seize back ze narrative and make it a referendum on WP integrity
Those are byelections for SMCs. The only be-election for a GRC was for Marine Parade GRC back in the 1990s, when then-PM Goh Chok Tong and his entire team resigned from office.
What are you implying? are you suggesting that pap will win a by election at SengKang now because it is a grc? R u very confident that the by election results at Hougang and Punggol East wld be different if they had been GRCs instead of SMCs?
You are a PAP supporter as far as I can see. Something goes wrong with the WP and you discredit them totally. As a party grow larger there will be issues with errant members, Khan will not be the first nor the last.
The issue is the WP leadership are bad judges of character to let a snake like her into its midst. N by defending her, they have basically implicated themselves. N she was a parachute in candidate. Isn't WP very stringent in selection criteria? Look at the hoops Nicole had to go through to become a candidate and compare it to the parachute khan. WP leadership should account be culpable in this.
How come till date the Wankers Khan has not been questioned about her Sexual assault? She has been using that as an excuse for her lies. She implied that she was sexually assaulted at 18 when she was studying in kangaroo land. She never reported this crime to the police?
Yes. PAP is using all it has to derail WP. But Singaporean voters in 2025 will not be like voters in the 1970s. I wont be surprised if WP wins at Hougang, Sengkang, Aljunied with better percentages but will also win seats eg East Coast.
The pap may already know that WP is better liked by the voters in the constituencies it stood for than PAP. What PAP is trying to do is slow down WP and try to make it onerous and difficult for good singaporeans to be WP candidates. Less WP candidates means less PAP losses in future
And the WP leadership served this slow down to the pap on a silver platter...in their incompetence with the Wanker Khan
The wankers will hang themselves if the PAP gives them enough rope and stay clear. This Khan saga is certain proof of that. Khan lied repeatedly in Parliament, her own wanker members who served as her assistants corroborated her accounts that wanker elders told Khan to keep lying and lying and lying.
There's simply no data on GRC by-elections besides the Marine Parade. It's a completely different ball game compared to SMC by-elections.
For Punggol East, it is more of a swing state than a stronghold for either party. Wankers won the by-elections, only to lose the ward back to OppieSlayer Charles Chong 2 years later by a clear margin. And after OppieSlayer retired, wankers won back the ward in a GRC elections.
U need to add in... during the last General Erection..the wanker khan was already caught out...n Bayi defended her...n u are right. Give the wankers time n they will have enough rope to hand themselves. Honestly... elite ah Chong is just lucky. I did say b4 that ah lian was a fuck up MP n she failed to consolidate her gains. When she won. The 1st thing she did was get preggy...n go maternity leave etc. So basically disappear from the constituency...like Pinky. N she had a few years left of her term...if she worked hard..ah Chong would have retired earlier
The tide of change is inevitable. In the old days a little bit of dirty trick would help PAP win a landslide. The younger generation is facing dissatisfaction with job security, PAP screw up with COVID, cost increases and the only objective in their voting is to give PAP a slap. People forget that the old era had a few real smart people and back then jobs were much more secured. Next GE WP will win over East Coast and MP… it’s inevitable

The issue is pap has state apparatus to protect itself. N look at the Ivan the terrible affair...no longer an issue bcos pap made it so. This was done to prevent infiltration like with Wong Hong Toy. And to ensure better candidates. Look at Nicole. She had a good track record n basically carried the whole Marine parade team against wooden. Than later join the wankers n had to volunteer n prove herself in WP than now became a candidate. Contrast that to wanker khan who was parachuted in at the last minute n b4 that her character was already dubious at best n now her true colours are revealed..at this stage the oppies are fucked n the wankers just gave the pappies greater legitimacy on a silver platter. Is that the oppies way of fighting for the ppl?
