Before the first world war, the USA was an isolationist country, and wasn't interested in getting into affairs of the rest of the world. It has over the last two world wars grew to become the world's superpower, as a matter of consequence. After WW2, it still grew militarily in parallel with its business growth to where it is today. Whether USA manipulated WW2 or not, is subject to debate, but the way the war ended placed USA as the world's leading power. The whole world learnt a lot from these wars. Even the victor of the war isn't eager going into another war and will only do so to protect its interest. There are a few disgruntled and dissatisfied groups wanting to wage violence to get even with society, but these are a minority, and will not get support from the rest of the world, including their own peoples (by race, or religion). Suggest you channel your sentiments to developing simulation war games, there is a large market for this. And nobody gets hurt. Anybody who has been to or through war does not want to see it again. USA is a power, and until some other country comes to match it in business, arts, sports, cuisine, entertainment, etc. she will remain the world leader. For military weaponry, even the Russians are a distant second, and have to lots to do to improve the lives of her own citizens.

Cheers!

DIRECT WAR IS A MUST NOW. Can not dream of any form of reduction or masking. Toned-down proxy wars are for the superpowers to size each other up. Now it is not that same stage any longer. It is USA the ex-superpower being too weak and useless, and refused to let it's outdated status go. No need to size up any more. Have nothing else to do put put it down. DIRECTLY USING DEADLY BLOODY FORCES. The superpower change hand can not be delayed. USA used nuke to put down Japs. Russia needs nothing lesser to put down USA. 200X stronger means of war need to be used to state brute strength resolve and confidence.

You only do limited proxy wars to test out your opponents, to get a measurement of strength courage and confidence, these are routine checks. Now it is beyond checking, the answer is clear. It is the time to put to death the old and weak beast and replace it.

Syria conflict: Turkish jets 'intercept Russian plane'

5 October 2015
From the section Europe

Turkish F-16 fighter jets have been scrambled after a Russian warplane violated Turkey's air space on Saturday, the foreign ministry says.

The Russian fighter plane "exited Turkish airspace into Syria" after being intercepted, the ministry said.

The Turkish foreign minister has spoken to his Russian counterpart, as well as ministers from other Nato countries.

Russia has been carrying out air strikes in Syria in support of President Bashar al-Assad.

The Russian embassy in Ankara said a Russian plane did violate Turkish airspace, and Russia has "explained it" to Turkey, Russian news agency Interfax reports.

A Kremlin spokesman in Moscow did not confirm the incident however, saying:

"Our ambassador was called to the foreign ministry and given a note, which mentions certain facts, which will be checked."

The Russian air campaign began on Wednesday with Moscow insisting it was targeting Islamic State (IS) positions. But Syrian activists say Russian planes have also targeted other Syrian groups opposed to President Assad.

On Monday Russia said it had "continued performing pinpoint strikes" on IS targets in Syria, carrying out 25 sorties and hitting nine IS targets.

Among those targets was a communications centre in Homs, and a command centre in Latakia, it said.

Nato said its Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg would meet the Turkish Foreign Minister Feridun Sinirlioglu at the organisation's headquarters in Brussels later on Monday.

Last week Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan described the Russian intervention in Syria as a grave mistake that would further isolate Moscow.

Saturday's interception took place south of the Yayladagi/Hatay region, Turkey says.

The foreign ministry in Ankara summoned the Russian ambassador to issue a "strong protest" against the incident, it said.

The UK ambassador to Turkey described the incursion as "reckless and worrying" and said Nato allies stood "shoulder to shoulder" with Turkey.

Forget about all the Sasemi Street Disneyland ideas, they have to be all burried ASAP.

There is a mere 8 billion over-population all facing TOTAL EXTINCTION when the exhausting resources ran out on planet earth, squandered and ruined. There is no Disneyland luxury to happily coexist and enjoy life together. The chance of survival have to be fought out. The weak cowards had to be eaten alive, so that the strongest will survive with the remaining resources. No luxury loving alternatives.

So FUCK ALL THE DISNEYLAND BLUFFS dead.

Disney productions add to the quality of life. Should go and see a play by Disney. Earlier this year I watched Beauty and the Beast at MBS. Very entertaining! Much better than scenes of wars and destruction. Very creative, dancing and singing professionally choreographed, colourful costumes. Everyone should attend at least once in their life.

Cheers!

I think the USA is the Home of the Brave, Land of the Free. (or is it the other way around?)

Cheers!

Too bad. The planet will be soon out of resources to sustain good things of the past. Energies and Materials squandered to their very last bit, environment ruined to the extend of mass extinction. USA was brave in cowboy days, in WW2 their forefathers stepped on fallen corpses of pals to fight wars. Now the pussies wear bullet vests and hide, dodged ISIS, try to stealth, try to use drones, all for the fear of death and pains and losses, so unlike their cowboy gtand fathers. Fucking shame! Eat them alive, accept no surrender!

Today if the strong foolishly applied KINDNESS, and failed to eliminate the weaks, their own chance of survival will be missed, as time past. Huge amount of resources will be squandered by billions of weaks daily, and by-product of their consumption is ruined and polluted environment. It would be too late if they are not fast to begin elimination. By the time they realized, there game is over because the resources already finished.

USSR and USA were facing different scenarios in WW2. USSR was invaded, USA wasn't. I agree, the Soviets were very instrumental in the war against Hitler, but in our society, we hear more of the US and British stories.

USA "lost" the Vietnam War was mainly because it was an "unpopular" war. A large amount of American citizens were against their country's occupation of a foreign country. The president(s) of the USA was under tremendous pressure to pull out of Vietnam which they eventually did. I personally think the Americans had no business in that war, and am glad that they withdrew. No other country's citizens can have so much influence in their country's military operations. That is what America is about, and represents a victory for humanity. You think any Moscovites protested their country's occupation of Afghanistan?

BTW, WW2 started to end after the allied forces landed on Normandy in Europe and in the Pacific, when the Americans won Guadacanal and inched closer and closer to Nippon. (Spl?) The reasons for the atomic bombs on the two Japanese cities is controversial.

Cheers!

ahahahaaha lmao,do you know how world war 2 was won?russians defect from their motherland?if it was usa holding the germans at bay at stalingrad,we would be finished.just like how pussy america lost every single war after world war 2.every war from korean war to vietnam war to middle east was a miserable tragedy.

8 to 10 million russian soldiers died on the battlefront compared to 400k american soldiers.and the pussy americans had to drop an atomic bomb cause they were afraid of dieing more.

If our planet is depleted of resources, everyone will suffer. At this time, some are plotting to kill other, while others are devising ways to sustain these resources. I do not know which camp you choose to attach to, but I will pick the side who is thinking about sustainability. It is the civilized choice.

Cheers!

Civilized ways IS the VERY original MISTAKE that CAUSED the entire EXTINCTION CRISIS. If there was any way out to survival, it MUST be the reverse of it. = THE MOST UNCIVILIZED WAYS.

Civilized ways very wrongly systematically love and protected everyone, a childish greedy naive kindness, with completely wrong presumption of unlimited resources to be always available. Fatally and tragically oversight the VERY FACT that planet earth resources are ALL of LIMITED NATURE. Every squandered consumption is gone and transformed into pollution. Every bit of energies and materials. Even so called RECYCLING PROCESS itself consums energies and materials, as well as generated pollution to further ruin environment.

False hope and false faith with recycling only buy some time to further enlarge the overpopulation, further the exhaustion of resources, and worsening pollution level to a deeper larger crisis.

The uncivilized ways solve it by immediately reverse to problem from the very root. Correct wrongs from the most wrongly. Eliminate the weaks ASAP, STOP consumption by the UNDESERVED. Stop providing stop giving, begin to take away instead of provide to the undeserving. Starting from taking away their lives.

Correct the very first mistake of wrong presumption that everyone deserves everything. This is the most untruth.

Only in peaceful communities can there be agriculture, animal husbandry, these go toward providing food. And when this stage is reached and comfortably sustained, the arts and other technologies will develop and flourish. This is the way civilizations flourish and grow. There will be problems created along the way, and that's where human minds have to tinker and work to overcome them. It does not take great intelligence to realize this.

Give some thought to this - during the sixties and seventies, industrialization created enormous pollution in the US (the word "smog" became associated with that time in US cities), the rivers and lakes were so polluted, that Lake Erie caught fire! The incident caused the society to relook at the way things were done, and they started "greening" their ways. Today, wildlife has returned to many forests and reserves, the rivers are clean (enough to allow aquaculture in many places), and many places have been restored back to almost a pristine state. That is what humans can do if they put their efforts in that direction.

Cheers!

You will not dream to produce food when resources run out, when energy and material runs out, and when environment is ruined. ALL agriculture needs ENERGY & MATERIALS for tools etc. Even a sufficiently UNPOLLUTED environment itself is a form of resources required for ANY agriculture. Regardless weather you are peaceful or waring, you are dead when over-sized population exhausted resources. Only way to survive is to CUT POPULATION level to fit the LIMITED resources, and it is very drastic, and only most brutal uncivilized way will be able to see a chance. Only after cutting down to a small enough level of population, you can consider how to produce food for the remaining people, with the remaining resources. But it will be surely easier when there is a smaller population.

Are you silly trying to prevent war by the poor argument that war hinders production of food hence can not have war? What rubbish? Man had wars since very beginning of own existence and almost never stop. It is the most natural and health mechanism of ELIMINATION & BALANCING. It had became so dysfunctional ever since man began a grave CHILDISH mistake of promoting Peace which was 1~2 century ago only, especially after establishing UN after WW2 to enforce global peace. This mistake shot up the population level curve in near vertical graphic scale.

Look at the drastic sharp rise in the population level above. I can tell you that the shape of the curve of REMAINING GLOBAL RESOURCES is the vertical flip of this similar shape, except it is upside down and even falling more sharply due to the cumulative nature of reduction / consumption.

USA and western superiority have always been demonstrated against likes of Afganistan, Iraq, Libya .... it is time they show their real worth against Russia. Or later China. It is a different ball game when you shoot at someone who can shoot back.

Why even worry about agricult if it's way of production pollutes air to give us Haze says 1000~2000 psi, that I can die in less than 3 days? Even if the agriculture produced my food it may be for apes to eat after we ate all dead from Haze.

WAF?!

A RUSSIAN jet has been shot down by Turkish forces after it flew into the country's airspace, according to as yet unconfirmed reports circulating on social media.

According to reports, eyewitnesses saw a large explosion in Huraytan, northern Syria, while three fighter jets were hovering above.

One journalist tweeted that three Turkish planes were responding to "mysterious" lock-ons from Mig-29 jets, which are used by Putin's forces.

Daily Star Online has contacted the Turkish government and the Russian military but neither could be reached for comment.
