Latest!!!!! Chinese Competitor has gotten NinjaVan to screw up on Shopee deliveries in order to ruin shopee!!!

Expensive items sent via Ninjavan will have problems. Items not delivered but claimed to be delivered. Delivery crew never go your place, but claimed you not home. Shopee Supermarket also facing issues.

The chinese are playing dirty. Please try ordering big ticket items from shopee if you don't believe.

Basically, Shopee is shit,

1. You probably saw the recent news about shopee delivery crew throwing parcels, causing things to break. Do you know that they use the cheapest foreign delivery guys, who will not bother to knock your door or even leave your purchase at doorsteps in middle of the night? The next day, your purchase gone missing.

2. Try calling their customer service, you will have to wait very long. It's the same for their online chat for disputes.

3. There are a lot of fake products on Shopee, eg fake USB storage drives, fake batteries, near expired drinks, fake software.

4. GST evasion by sellers. Read below

5. Sometimes, they provide discounts and free delivery if you use their ShopeePay, but bear in mind that they impose a 2% surcharge for topping it up with credit cards.

No. 1, 2, 3, 4 are no diff on other platforms. Not sure about 5 but hidden costs are normal.
Only amazon are making profit but it die die cut all costs, so can imagine how bad it is for others.
