what actually is the pap's manifesto?

in 2006, their manifesto was:
create a future full of opportunities for singaporeans, with a dynamic economy generation good jobs for all, and a vibrant city which we will all enjoy living in.
future full of opportunities is an indefinite jargon, they didnt specify timespan... what opportunities did we have in the past 5yrs, except for opportunities to make our lives a living hell. good jobs - my foot!
strive to keep singapore a safe, stable and harmonious multi-racial society, united by shared values and purpose, and confident of its place in the world.
safe & stable has been a hoax. have we not witnessed increase in senseless crimes in the recent past? harmonious multi-racial society - hence, the influx of foreign tallons?
foster an open and inclusive society which welcomes diversity, values each individual, and involves all of us in shaping our future.
open & inclusive society which welcomes diversity - hence, more influx of foreign tallons? shaping our future... a future of poverty & eternal indebtedness to the banks.

manifestos from paps are just casual say say only MAN NEEDS FATSO. what they mean here is that where there is money, it would be priority manifestos. many inherent societal problems haven't really been resolved. things like structural unemployments, the igored middle-aged jobless professionals who were hit by the economic downturns, the stablising of hdb flats and if u backdate some issues like the CLOB shares and the LEHMAN MINIBOND fiascos where many investors were hit and clobbed....there isn't seem to be justifiable and satisfactory solution. all such are still hanging in limbo. and that bloke fr MAS was pedestalled to be "ministerial material".

in 2006, the ppl showed up in full force attending most of the opposition party rallies, only few cats & dogs attended the pappies rallies.
this time round, i think the pappies can cut cost & forget about booking rally venues, bcos the cats & dogs probably starved to death since the last GE.
