He grew his logistics business into something ( I assume he is the owner of the company that Wendy Lim works in). For the husband, its a no win situation. If you outright accuse or confront David, something bad can happen to your business or your own self. Maybe you will suddenly get audited by IRAS. Maybe the police will start pulling you over for minor traffic offences,etc. You get the picture? The PAP is nothing but vindictive thanks to Old Fart's legacy. Wendy's husband has to face the real possibility of retaliation against himself and his business. Not only that, where can he go? To the media?
