do you guys not believe that there is a God or a Divine Being that is responsible for the universe and all thats in it?

Look, if there is one, then manshould not sin against Him by using his name in vain. Why write about Creation just to prove there is God. If there is One, this Almighty don't need you write a book the Bible over 1,500 years and confused yourself. He will put His book somewhere in a cave for you to discover, not writ over 1,500 years.

Today’s Scripture Reading [July 11, 2010]

The transgression of the wicked saith within my heart, that there is no fear of God before his eyes. For he flattereth himself in his own eyes, until his iniquity be found to be hateful. [Psalm 36:1-2. KJV]

The deepest division between people in this world may be put as follows: some have knowledge of sin, and some do not. By knowledge of sin I mean an awareness of one’s own guilt, perversity, uncleanness, lack of moral, rebellious against God, profaning God’s Name, the love of the world rather than the love for God.

Many people have tried to be religious and attempt to do ‘righteousness’ things but denying the power of the cross and the blood of Jesus. Righteousness has been mistaken by many of us to mean “displaying of good outward appearance by doing good work”. But God has warned: all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags (Isaiah 64:6) and there is none righteous (Romans 3:10) for all have sinned and come short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23).

Godly righteousness is a transformation of all our inward self and it touches on four spiritual procedures:

(1) Be sensitive to sin and deal with it immediately.
(2) Focus on God’s holiness and purity.
(3) Make a strategy for dealing with sin – including confession and accountability.
(4) Repent of our sins and take every effort not to repeat our sins.

How many of us are fully sensitive to sin, fully focus on God’s holiness and purity unceasingly or take an extreme effort to making a strategy of exit each time we sinned and to truly repent of it? If we are sincere and honest, we can come to the knowledge that we have failed time and again. Therefore each day we need to face our challenges by praying for the power of the Holy Spirit that God has graciously promised to us. The Holy Spirit is both around us and within us. Remember, our body is God’s temple and we are bought with a price. We must therefore not abuse or misuse our body. We must glorify God with our body by living in holiness (1 Corinthians 6:19-20) and to draw near to Him. When we draw near to Him, God will draw us. We need the cleansing and purification of our hearts so that we can stay on course and not be double-minded (James 4:8).

As truly born-again Christians, we have the greatest privilege of serving our sovereign, holy God. It is good gospel news that what God does for us is not contingent on what we are able to do. He is going to be God, regardless of what you and I do. We are not going to make God what we want Him to be. We may make a god, but it will not be the God. Many have profaned His Name but His Name will be from everlasting to everlasting. To all who believed in His Name, He gave them the right to become children of God (John 1:12). Sadly, many have refused to acknowledge that Jesus is the Lord of Lords and King of Kings. The gospel truth is that a time will come when He will set up His everlasting Kingdom and every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord (Philippians 2: 10-11).

No believer ever sets out to falter or to later become a backslider. It is our responsibility as Christians to keep moving at a steady pace, growing in grace and knowledge of the Lord, lest we spiral out of control and fall like an airplane. We thus have the godly call to be lifted up and to strengthen one another by sharing our knowledge that God has so graciously imparted to us. We must, however, take full knowledge of our sin that separates us from Him. The wonderful gospel news is that no sin is too big that He cannot forgive but we must take of the knowledge that no sin is too small for Him to ignore. God’s holy justice must prevail but He can forgive every sin if only we allow Him to do His work of redemption. What a wonderful Saviour we have!

Have you found yourself in the midst of a spiritual famine that we have become immune to what sin is? Are you moving away from God because of your spiritual famine? Are you married to the world totally because of your spiritual famine? Are you no longer serving God? Would you rather not bother about Him and also prefer Him not to bother you? How are you reacting to all these? Have your heart turn cold? Remember the story of the prodigal son that Jesus told us. No matter how filthy we are or how ungrateful we are, God is always ready to forgive if only we are willing to be forgiven. God is more than able for every situation of our lives. We must not falter and must continue to exercise our faith in Him and work out our own salvation with fear and trembling (Philippians 2:12). It is time to destroy our idols and manmade temples and return to the pursuit of our God we are supposed to be serving. When we truly let God be God in our life, we will be able to attain the unattainable and reach the unreachable. Jesus is the first, and He is the last and besides Him, there is no God (Isaiah 44:6). The kingdom of darkness is already subdued, and the blood-stained banner of His Cross is exalted. He is sitting high upon His throne, far above every principality, power and might (Ephesians 1:20).

Before the Coming of our Lord Jesus, there is going to be perilous time when many are going to preach their work of deception. There will be a lot of very well-meaning professing “Christians” in the world who are going to mislead you to believe that obedience to God has been replaced by grace, and that Christ lived perfectly so that we wouldn’t have to. Remember, Jesus came not to abolish the law but to fulfill it, and that it will not pass away until after heaven and earth have passed away (Matthew 5:17-18). Besides this, the world is going to be filled with the deceptive work of Satan and through his angels and also through many fallen people of the world, they will take every attempt to destroy mankind and lead them away from God and His truth. As we can see from the writings of Apostle Paul, this is not a new phenomenon. Since the fall of Adam and Eve 6,000 years ago, Satan has been using people across all diversities, all races to deceive God’s proudest creation, His precious people like you and I. Apostle Paul told the early church, “Let no man deceive you with vain words” (Ephesians 5:6), and “let no man deceive you by any means” (2 Thessalonians 2:3). But how can we make sure that we aren’t deceived? Paul makes it very clear: “Prove all things; hold fast that which is good” (1 Thessalonians 5:21). And where can we find the ‘all things which is good?’ The answer: The Word of God, the Bible.

When asked about God, Confucius says let's talk about man and not God. He knew that it's a sin to talk about HIM if you know nothing about HIM.

Only the West think they knew about God, and supposedly HE is known to be a jealous and angry God and He is the only One. Whoever wrote about Jesus do not intent He to be God but only the people, Roman, wants to make Jesus another God of their many Gods. In their political views, there is a new beleive and ways to control the people. It is like creating LKY as the founder of Singapore and the PAP regime can stay longer to rip off the nation money by paying themselves millions of dollars.

Did not Jesus say " i have come to fulfill the law (of Moses) not to destroy it"? if that be the case then why have paul come to abolish it and why dont the Christians follow Jesus instead of Paul?

The NT was written from back to front. Meaning the life of Jesus was written from Paul time onwards. Mark, who followed Paul through Minor Asia, wrote the life of Jesus through 'hearsays' and from old people who remembered a man called Jesus and what happened to Jesus. So Paul version of life of Jesus was completely different and as such no one actually knows the truth of Jesus. Galation 1:4 - 22 Paul himself say he spent 3 years in Minor Asia to find out what happened to Jesus and his version of Jesus was true. That means there was another version of Jesus was not true and must be from Jesus diciples James and Peter. Paul says those he did not beleive his version was true will be 'accursed' meaning will be cursed and condemed.

Scholars have said if people want to believe the NT they might as well call themselve Paul Christians, or Paul the Messiah.

The NT Bible is messy and hard to follow, alot of half truth! As for the OT, it was 'Jews Korans' and not much to say about. Scholars says if you want to know the truth of life of Jesus the Islam Koran is more accurate as it was passed down by Jesus diciples to their sons, example from James to sons to his grand children so forth.

Today’s Scripture Reading [July 18, 2010]

He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth. [Isaiah 53:7. KJV]

Bible is still the best seller of book of all time. There is no close second. Calculating how many Bibles are sold around the world each year is a virtually impossible task. It is the only Book that has been translated to over more than 2,200 languages with at least one book of the Bible is translated into these 2,200 languages.

Why is Bible so widely translated and read? It is interestingly to note that even critics and skeptics who are ‘dead’ against the Bible read it! There is no better reason to explain this other than we are all created in the image of God who has placed His Word into our hearts. Whether we are conscious or not, we like it or not, we yearn for God’s Word. Because we are blinded by our sins, many turn away from His Word. They prefer, instead, to listen to Satan, His arch-enemy and worst, some of these people have unknowingly become Satan’s instrument to try to attack and destroy the Word of God. To their great disappointment, history has shown they can never succeed. No other book on earth has been so forcibly and ferociously attacked on and the mere fact that the Bible is still preserved to this day is a clear testimony that God Himself is personally involved in protecting and defending His Word, the Everlasting Word of God (Matthew 24:35). It was said that by end of the second century, it was totally impossible to destroy the written manuscripts of New Testament because one could easily reconstruct the New Testament just by extracting the quotations from the sermons preached by early church fathers. These sermons which were recorded in manuscripts were kept in strong custody in the libraries of churches.

The Word of God, the Bible, knows no boundary. Young children, old people, peasants, kings, royalties, businessmen, commom people, Christians, non-Christians, etc from all the nations read it and believe it. The following facts are likely to account for the reasons why so many people including non-Christians read this great book called the Bible:

• Jesus is a real person who has dramatically affected history
• Bible is filled with real people and they are confirmed to exist by archeological discoveries and recorded historical events
• Bible is packed with real places and their existences are confirmed by archeological discoveries
• Brilliant people like great scientists, politicians, composers, etc believe it to be true
• Bible fulfills our deepest needs in search for the True God
• Bible packs with the most exciting historical events and is historically reliable
• Bible packs with teachings that are still relevant today, more so then ever before
• Bible has survived the most sustained and ferocious attack than any other books ever written; it is a well-known fact that people were beheaded for possessing a copy of the Bible; this persecution of beheading continues to this day
• Our time scale is based on B.C. (Before Christ) and A.D. (Anno Domini which means “in the year of our Lord Jesus Christ) proves that the birth of Jesus is a very solid historical fact
• Current world events that are unfolding are consistent with Bible’s predictions and prophecies
• Many lives, from drug addicts to the most incorrigible criminals, have been changed because of Bible message
• Many people have died because their Christian faith

Contrary to what many people have concluded, Bible does not have many stories. Even though the Bible is divided into the Old Testament (OT) and the New Testament (NT), the Bible tells only one story and is consistently throughout the Old and the New Testament, absolutely no contradiction: It tells the story of how God rescues a broken world and points to His Son, Jesus who would come and rescue God’s people from this broken world. In the OT, God revealed Himself through the Israelites, through the prophets, their prophecies and through His own promises. In the NT, God reveals Himself in Christ in human form and the fulfillment of every promise and prophecy. In other words, the OT predicts God's Rescuer whom He would send to the world; the NT fulfills this and presents God's Rescuer, His birth, His death and His resurrection of God's Son, Jesus Christ. Therefore, the whole Bible - both the Old and New Testament - is all about God's Rescuer.

From the literary perspective, people read the Bible because they think the Bible is a book of heroes, showing you people you should copy or emulate. It is true that Bible does have stories of some heroes, but we will all soon find out that most of the people in the Bible were not heroes at all. These 'heroes' made some big mistakes and sometimes on purpose; some were timid, got afraid and ran away when they were facing persecutions. At times, they were downright mean.

Bible is not a book of literature but divine Word that God Himself penned. The true theme of the story that is told in the Bible is about a young Hero who comes from a far country to win back His lost treasure, the precious souls of this fallen world. It's a love story about a brave Heavenly Prince who leaves His Palace, His Throne - everything - to rescue the ones He loves. It's like the most wonderful of fairy tale that has come true in real life! The best thing about this Story – or the Divine Fairy Tale – is: it’s true and we, as God’s children, are part this Divine Fairy Tale! As the stage curtain is about to drop, we must make sure that we are players on the stage with the Heavenly Prince. Just like all drama, all plays, all movies, there is a time duration and once the curtain is dropped, the show will end. The big difference, however, is that this real-life Divine Fairy Tale will not be replayed!

Attached below is an article from a Bible devotional website Charisma, of our Great Hero, Jesus who became the Perfect Sin Sacrifice. We must believe with total conviction that through His sacrificial blood, Jesus can redeem us from the wrath of God (Romans 5:10). He is our only Rescuer!

The Perfect Sin Sacrifice

Mark 16:1-20 God is a God of infinite detail. He made sure that Jesus fulfilled every requirement for a sin sacrifice according to His laws. The account in Mark of Mary Magdalene bringing sweet spices on the Sabbath to anoint Jesus' body reveals a very important fact about Jesus' burial.

Jesus died around 3 p.m. in the afternoon just before sundown on a Friday. At sundown the Sabbath would begin, and the body could not be prepared on that day. When Jesus delivered His spirit into the hands of the Father and died, He was taken off the cross and wrapped for burial. There was not sufficient time to prepare His body completely for burial because those tending Him were rushing to get the job done before sundown.

When the Sabbath was past, the two Marys brought sweet spices to anoint the body of Jesus and thus complete the embalming process that could not be completed before the Sabbath. Along with these sweet spices I believe frankincense was included. Frankincense is a sweet white gum that comes from a tree in Israel. It has a sweet odor and was mixed with other sweet spices to make the holy perfume mentioned in Exodus 30:34. Frankincense was used with oil to cover most of the sacrificial offerings required by the Levitical law. There was one sacrifice, however, upon which frankincense was forbidden for anointing. This sacrifice was the sin offering. We find this in Leviticus 5:11: "He shall put no oil upon it, neither shall he put any frankincense thereon: for it is a sin offering"

God is a God of infinite detail. He made sure frankincense was never laid on the body of Jesus, because if it had been, He would not have fulfilled the requirements as the perfect sin sacrifice. I believe Mary was carrying the very frankincense that was given to her by the Magi on the night Jesus was born. She probably kept it in a safe place and treasured it for years.

The scriptures do not tell us that Mary was carrying frankincense, but it is a natural assumption since she was carrying sweet spices. I believe this was the case and that it proves how awesome our God is. He has marked the heavens with the span of His hand and can hold all the waters on earth in the hollow of His hand (Isaiah 40:12), yet He humbles Himself to number the hairs on our heads and to see the hearts of men. He has named every star in the universes (Psalm 147:4-5), and yet He saw the need to prevent frankincense from being applied to the body of our Lord, which would have nullified His acceptance as the perfect sin sacrifice.

All we have talked about this should give us strong confidence that God can meet our needs through Jesus Christ because He loves us. Jesus fulfilled every requirement to be the perfect sin offering for our sake, and because He did, we now can have access to the throne room of God through prayer and can approach His throne of grace and find help in time of need. So what are you worried about?

KJV as it is known as King James Version. And so who was King James? During his regin as King of England, King James wanted the Vulgate Bible to be translated into English. The first editor of the KJV was Francis Bacon. During this period of King James rule, people were afraid to speak up, like in LKY time, and will be killed or hang if one does speak freely. And people used coded messages and signals to pass messages. As such there are many 'coded or secret messages' in this Bible enscripted by Bacon. He hoped one day someone will be able break his 'codes and messages' to reveal the truth of the story in the Bible.

Why was the Bible written in Shakespears style and pattern of writing? This was because at th period Shaekspears books were popular in this time. The Bible book so well managed that it contained 1188 verses and if divided add these numbers indivdually it gives you 18 and divide 9 gives you base 9. And 9 is said to be God's number and the Chinese King already used 9 (9 Steps to heaven) in worshipping 'tian kong - Heavenly father'. Until today you see at TianAn Square the 9 steps to heaven structure still there.

Read Psalm 118 verse 8 of the bible which is the middle page and middle version of the bible which reads ' it s better to trust in God than in confidence of man'. Depending how you interpret it tells you to trust in God than man who wrote this bible.

If Bible is truly God's word then it won't be in Shakerspears style of writing, right? It would be something out of the moon and the first writing from God will be hard to deciphers, right?

Today’s Scripture Reading [July 25, 2010]

The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple. The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes. The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether. [Psalm 19:7-9. KJV]

The Holy Scripture, the Word of God is everlasting. God’s Word is so powerful and comprehensive that it can convert or transform the entire person, changing someone into precisely the person God wants him to be. God’s Word is sufficient to restore through salvation even the most broken life - a fact to which King David himself gave abundant testimony. The Holy Scripture is trustworthy, imparting wisdom and the use of the word ‘SURE’ by King David to mean that the Lord’s testimony is unwavering, immovable, unmistakable, reliable, and worthy to be trusted. These are the very foundation of God’s Word, the Holy Bible. Because it is flawless, it endures forever. Just like a natural pearl that no man can further improve on it to make it better or to make it more valuable, any change or modification to the Word of God could only introduce imperfection. The Word of God is true, absolutely comprehensive, eternally and unalterably perfect. It needs no updating, editing, refining, for it is God’s true revelation for every generation. The Word of God has always been and will always be sufficient. Rather than seeking something outside the Bible, we just need to study, seek and obey the God’s glorious revelation in His Word.

Before the discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls, most English versions of Bible were translated from manuscripts dated about 1,000 years after the birth of Christ. This gave skeptics truck load of reasons to attack and rebuke the Bible. One of their main arguments was that because Jesus fulfilled so many prophecies so accurately as predicted in the Old Testament, they reasoned that the Old Testament could only be written after the fact. They claimed that because these manuscripts were written after the birth of Christ, the stories in the Old Testament were all but conspired. For example, it was not possible for the predictions like the birth, the death, the resurrection could be so accurately prophesied and fulfilled as they were exactly told in the Bible. The fulfillment of these prophecies was not just the event itself. They were fulfilled in every minute detail. In total not less than 300 OT prophecies were fulfilled by the same person, that is Jesus as told in the NT. Statistically, it was totally impossible for one man to fulfill all the prophecies in such a precise manner! So, they arrogantly 'concluded' that the stories must have been conspired and must have been written after the fact.

The discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls which were found to be dated some 100 – 200 years before the birth of Christ has now completely silenced even the most die-hard skeptics. The Dead Sea Scrolls have revealed beyond all doubts once and for all as to the authenticity and reliability of the Bible. Except for one book, the Book of Esther, fragments of the other 38 Books of the Old Testament texts were found in the Dead Sea Scrolls. In fact, almost the whole Book of Isaiah was preserved. The Book of Isaiah is also known by many Bible scholars to be ‘Bible in miniature.’ Coincidentally, just like the Bible which contains 66 books, the Book of Isaiah has 66 chapters and can be divided into two main sections, the first 39 chapters which contained many events relating to the Old Testament and the next 27 chapters which prophesied many events of the coming Messiah such as the birth, the death and the resurrection of Jesus Christ. It is of no pure coincidence that the Bible has also 39 books in the Old Testament and 27 books in the New Testament. Other than the Psalms which are actually collections of ancient hymns written by several authors, the Book of Isaiah is the longest book in the Bible.

The most amazing discovery is that when the Dead Sea Scroll text of Isaiah is compared with the then earliest known text they can be compared word-for-word with accuracy of up to 95 percent. The earliest then known text was written about 1,000 years after the Dead Sea Scrolls were written! The 5 percent of differences, as they turned out, were due to minor spelling differences. There are no doctrinal differences. This reminds me of a gossip game of message I played during a communication training class. In this game, a simple message was read to one person first, and he would then repeat the message to another person. As the message was transmitted from the first person to the next and so on, it changes so quickly and dramatically that by the time it was transmitted to the fifth or the sixth person, the message was totally different from the original. Unless God is personally involved in the preservation, how could a document that is a copy of a copy of a copy that was copied over thousands of years and by different copyists borne such close similarity to one another. We can confidently (or perhaps arrogantly) come to the conclusion that God Himself is personally involved in the preservation of the Book of Isaiah (as well as all the documents of the Dead Sea Scrolls) to fully reveal Himself to us and to silent His enemies, forever!

While it is true that those are not original documents which were copies of earlier one and we did not have clear idea of how they were copied. But not anymore. The discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls does not just prove the accuracy of the texts among the manuscripts which written at different times by different copyists, and sometimes hundred years apart, they thrown extremely important light as to its copying process. Ancient documents were copied by well-trained copyists who were usually working from one or two very old documents. They would make many copies of their own source copy, all the while preserving and comparing the copies that they made. They would constantly check for any mistakes and if they had found making mistakes that could potentially alter the message or its meaning, they would burn the manuscript and then copy it all over again. The quality control was very strict, perhaps even stricter than the quality control used in modern-day manufacturing process. They would leave no chance to error leading to textual inaccuracy. Because of the strict quality control, the end result was that the copied document was extremely accurate when it compared with the earlier version. In addition to the high standard quality control process which they had specially designed for verifying the accuracy of copied documents, the copyists who were involved in copying religious documents were required to go through priestly anointing before they could begin to copy the texts. Not any ‘tom, dick and harry’ were allowed to do the copying even though they might have the technical skills to do it. It was a very serious matter especially when it involved in the copying of religious documents. It was not just ‘cut and paste process’ as many people have tried to mock these ancient copyists whose dedication of their profession as copyists can put many of us to shame. They put all their hearts and souls to ensure perfection. Remember, personal computers and Microsoft were not in existence! In spite of the so-called user-friendly cut and paste technology we have today, we now made more mistakes when trying to copy documents than ever before! Thank God, the cut and paste technology did not exist two thousand years ago!

The Red Sea Scrolls find is truly God’s divine revelation to His people concerning His Word. His desire is for everyone to come to the knowledge of the truth (1 Timothy 2:4) and the truth will set us free from the wrath of God and God has sent His Son, Jesus to reveal to us far beyond what the Red Sea Scrolls have offered. The revelation of God’s perfect love can be seen through His Son, Jesus Christ whom His has sent to redeem sinners. This is God’s greatest truth and this story of God’s attempt to restore the fallen being race is consistently told throughout the Bible from Genesis to Revelation.

But people lie (Romans 3:4). We all know that. We have all been lied to and we have all distorted the truth for our own advantage at one time or other. Whatever men may be like, we have no reason to question God. When He speaks, it is true, accurate, and correct to an infinite degree. The words of the Lord are pure words as silver tried in a furnace on the earth, refined seven times (Psalm 12:6). We all know that truth and error are antithetical and mutually exclusive. If it is true, then it cannot be in error, and if it is in error, then it cannot be true. The Red Sea Scrolls have proved it all! Many archeologists, historians, university professors have invested their whole lives and efforts going to the Holy Land to dig for evidences that God’s Word is unchanging and true. Thankfully, they have done exceedingly well in their efforts which God must be very pleased with. But when God finally decides to reveal that His written Word is true to mankind, all He needed was just a humble shepherd, a lost goat, a stone and a jar. This was how the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered. A shepherd looking for a lost goat and he threw a stone into a cave which he thought the goat was hiding inside. He then heard the sounds of a broken jar which was later found to have contained the manuscripts of the OT dated 100 – 200 years before the birth of Christ. This discovery of the Red Sea Scrolls was the greatest archaeological discovery of the 20th century and they were not discovered by great scholars, archeologists or historians. Instead, the discovery was led by a humble shepherd, a lost goat, a piece of stone and the cry of a broken jar. Together, they lifted the Voice of God and put to a complete death to Satanic accusation that the Word of God, the Bible is not inspired!

Are you sure? How many versions of Bible were there in English. KJV Bible were the first English edition of the Vulgate bible (German). Go read the hsitroy of the Bible and the Roman empire.

The discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls which were found to be dated some 100 – 200 years before the birth of Christ has now completely silenced even the most die-hard skeptics.

If you want to know about Jesus, then you shd read the Quran. The Quran was only re-written twice and the story in Quran about Jesus was more accruate than the NT (load of rubbbish from the Roman). The story of Hesus was passed down by the Ebinonite tribe (Jesus brother James to his grandchildren also name James). The last emperor of Roman Domitain spare their lifes (Jesus deciples later known a the ebinonite tribe) becasue he found them 'peasants and farmers and not likely to cause trobule.
But people lie (Romans 3:4). We all know that. We have all been lied to and we have all distorted the truth for our own advantage at one time or other. Whatever men may be like, we have no reason to question God. When He speaks, it is true, accurate, and correct to an infinite degree.

Man created God, not vice versa. Man try to create image of God to look like themsevle, if not man can take image of any animals to be their God.
There is no Word of God and only fool beleive the Italain mafia and their Roman ancestor who corrupted their religion.

If Paul was blinded for 3 days as it was said in Acts, then how come in all his 13 Epistles he never mentioned about it. It was a life changing effect for Paul and how come Paul personally never tell his stories in his letter.

Skip the rubbish NT in the Bible and you will free yourself from all the rubbish thrown to you by the Italian mafia POPE Vactican.

If you beleive in the Italian NT in the Bible, might as well beleive in your Chinese ancestor beleive in tua pek kong and tian kong.

If Bible is truly God's word then it won't be in Shakerspears style of writing, right? It would be something out of the moon and the first writing from God will be hard to deciphers, right?

I just asked TS a simple question whether he read the RSV bible especially the preface. He didnt even respond. Hmmm...how to discuss like that?

Huh...very interesting....Man created God....Well it could happen...if only one day a man can create his own father or mother (out of thin air, of course)...who knows hor...science is so advanced now a day and one day you may wake up and find that science allows you to create a son whom you will call him daddy....self-contrary? ..oh!...with science so advance...everything seems possible...impliedly from tanwahtiu's comments ....no offence please....because if man created God than a son should be able to create a father...sorrrrrry....if this is offensive but this is just based on the 'logic' if we follow tanwahtiu's comments...anyway my post here seems confusing and very illogical..and that is the point: once you change the order of nature, of creation....making Creator as creature and creature as Creator....everything becomes confusing and very illogical...got it!!!

If we assumed man was created by a Creator, the creator maybe a group of species from other planets or in some part of this universe and throw his invention into the planet Earth to see if it can survive itself.

Christians want you to beleive that the creator has a name and is known as God. And creator and God is one person. This 'pao ka liao theory' is misleading and confusing to believe.

Perhaps Man, an invented product, survived itself and managed to do well, adapt to the environment and invented his tools for survivals against other wild animals and natural disasters around him. Soon man began to develop his brain and able to communicate with each others and develop languages, science and technology. Soon they began to questions about the draught, famine, loud thunderous sound from the dark gloomy skies, earht quake and animals and vegetations.

Soon man began to reasons, man began to beleive perhaps the loud thunder noise man was produced by a man of big nature banging in the sky. So they call that man name call thunder God. And man began to develop more Godly figures and have water God, sky God, sun god and so on.

So when I say man created God is nothing wrong. I did not say man creates the Creator. I am separating the Creator from God as both are of different identity. So when the Roman-Italians POPE Vaticans came out with ONE GOD system they want to confuse you saying God is also the creator (as if).

So Psalm 23 now lan lan always think like the Roman-Italian POPE and beleive when they wrote about God. The Jews, a type of race, wants to beleive their God created earht in 10 days and create first man as Adam, we will leav it to them to make up their own history story telling tales. The Roman fucked up their own Godly beleive and when they run out of ideas they began to steal or borrow from the Jews. Then they add their own juicy story about God and use a scaepgoat call Paul to be their story line.

So man creates God(s) in many forms, and the Creator that created MAN had left MAN to survive on their own. As such why should MAN try to know the creator or think we should try to please our creator! They have left us to survive on our own accord and fuck why should He be our God???? Rest.

OK lah...you have your 'theology'. May be you want to start writing the Theology (or Gospel) According to tanwahtiu and perhaps one day you can become Creator or God and people may just worship you.

Having said this, we look at what's on the records...the Italians, the Romans, the POPE...I really don't care. But the very fact is that the Bible and all the commentaries and written materials about the Bible, about Jesus, about God can fill up a mountain - how high, I really don't know but if you put all the written records that were written about the Bible, about Jesus, Yahweh, I think they can fill up half Mount Everest! There is no second to this. At least I am and like many Christians are believing some with solid written records to fall on. Frankly, at the end if Jesus doesn't exit, God doesn't exit and there is no Creator and we are either created by an outer space alien or came from a bowl of soup, I still have nothing to lose. In fact, I have everything to gain because I have learnt from the Bible teachings to do good (well other religions also teach people to be good). But if Jesus really exists and appear on the Judgment Day, I can cling on to my belief and can call Him my Lord and Saviour. I can enjoy my eternal life with Him.

The debate and argument for or against God existence will never end...but time will tell...but as Christians we are 100% sure that Jesus exists, and He died for our sins - He was sent by God to be our Saviour.

By way a little note: It was interesting to note that many Asians labelled Jesus as a 'Western' God. But I have read a very interesting article (which I hope to retrieve and share), many ancient Romans who came to acknowledge Jesus were persecuted by the own Romans and the reason - their own Romans labelled these early Christians being supertitious believing a 'Oriental' God! So, is Jesus a 'western' or an 'oriental' God...He is none of these...Jesus is God of the Unverse.

For those who like numbers...you may be interested to know that if you convert the Greek word for Jesus (Kurios Iesous Xristos) into numbers (all Greek characters have a numerical equivalence) and add up the number, you will get 3168. Do you know what is this stands for? This is the altitude of Bethelem which is 31 degree and 68 seconds North. If you go to google to search for the altitude of Bethelem you have 31 degree and 26 second North. Because of slight shift in earth position continuously, all the earth's landmark altitude has changed slightly over 2,000 years. But many Geography experts could calculate backward and can tell you that that 2,000 years ago, the altitude of Bethelem was 31 deg. 68 North....Jesus was born in Bethelem....coincidence...taking about God of Universe!

Please take no offence and I respect your 'theology' but I am still trying to figure out what your theology is.

Sorry. You refering to the SOLID written records as in those books written by people like Joseph Prince or Benny Hinns you find in a Christian bookshop? Or those scriptures that were passed down a thousand over years ago like the Gospel of Thomas or The Letter of Clement?

BTW, can anyone explain why certain "books" related to Xtianity are IN the Holy Bible... and why apparently a big portion of them are NOT in the Bible?
Seems to me a great deal of human intervention are in the "Making of the HOLY Bible".

Ok, if this is interesting to you that Jesus is an Oriental God, please tell us more. Or you want to lead us to the theory that Jesus went to the East and got pretty influenced by Buddhism or Hinduism and went back to Jerusalem with his own brand of "religion"? Very little is known about Christ before 30 yrs old isn't it?

If you go to google to search for the altitude of Bethelem you have 31 degree and 26 second North. The same geologist who tells u the altitude 2000 yrs ago is 31'68" at Bethelhem will also tell you earth is not 6000 yrs old.

Please take no offence and I respect your 'theology' but I am still trying to figure out what your theology is.

There is no theology here. To me, the only "theology" to religion is rationality, wisdom and kindness.... and live it up!

At least I am and like many Christians are believing some with solid written records to fall on. So you become a Christian is like buying an insurance policy for 'just in case' there is a judgement day. And alll you belive is the word 'if there is'. There are many man made book encouraging people to do well and live well with righteousness and so on and Bible is just one of them. OT is the Jews people writing for their people. Confucius is for the Chinese race and why you not do more research and learn Confucius value and teaching.

The debate and argument for or against God existence will never end...but time will tell...but as Christians we are 100% sure that Jesus exists, and He died for our sins - He was sent by God to be our Saviour.

The debate of God come from the Christains and not other races. One day they say God is One person. Then when when the lose their ground they say there is a holy spirit and a son. So if God is the only person why need a son. Very inportant sarifices from the Great Man (God) to use his only begotten son to be killed by man. If he can create Man from the soil, surely he don't need to screw or plant his seed on a woman to produce a son. He can always make one from the ground.

For those who like numbers...you may be interested to know that if you convert the Greek word for Jesus (Kurios Iesous Xristos) into numbers (all Greek characters have a numerical equivalence) and add up the number, you will get 3168.

Greek people are confused race believing everything to be their Gods. You want to join them beleiving the same?

Please take no offence and I respect your 'theology' but I am still trying to figure out what your theology is.

What theology? This is no rocket science or technology to turn it into theology, just simple assumption of man created or invented by one of species in the universe and thrown into earth to see if it can survive itself.

Very interesting bro as i always look at it as a life is a gamble point of view.

Bro Psalm23 a servant of GOD has always quote from the bible that the the bible is GOD inspire through men writing and that JESUS is the SON of GOD and and there is life after death.. by the way Bro Psalm23 did not point a gun at anyone head and ask them to convert..

on the other hand Bro Tan argue that there is no God and JESUS is a fake..just worship your ancestor and you will be bless..this is exactly what my brother and sister is doing now..morning burn joss stick, buy fruits offer to ancestor and tua pek kong..Bro tan too never point a gun anyone head to convert..

Lets say i choose to believe Bro Psalm23 that JESUS IS THE SON OF GOD and there is life after death..and one day death us all and we found out that there is no such thing as JESUS or ANCESTOR worship..me, Bro Psalm and Bro Tan will lose out wasting our time on all these nonsense......but if there is a GOD and JESUS..i am save and gain everything as promise:p

Each and every human have a will which nobody not even angel and demon can take away until the day he leave this world.
Only one thing i do know eveytime when i go travelling i must have my constant companion with me and that is the BIBLE.
