United should have won this game. Sloppy to concede in the 89min.
To all you Man Utd fanboys...do you really think Mourinho will lead to CL qualification let alone the Premier League title?
I wonder what excuses he will give in his post match interview.

Cannot beat a mediocre Arsenal team at home.

Should be able to make it to Europa league (again).

Cristiano Ronaldo hat trick gives Real Madrid derby win at Atletico

Cristiano Ronaldo savoured derby delight again with yet another treble as Real Madrid opened up a four-point lead at the top of La Liga.

Ronaldo struck his 39th career hat trick -- although his first goal may yet be credited to Raphael Varane -- as Real beat city neighbours Atletico Madrid 3-0 in the Estadio Vicente Calderon's final league derby.

Atletico will bid a sad farewell to the Calderon in the summer when moving to a new 67,000-capacity La Peineta home, but they would be truly delighted to say goodbye to Ronaldo.

The Portuguese superstar has been a constant thorn in Atletico's side down the years and his third goal, sweeping home Gareth Bale's cross into an unguarded net, took him past Alfredo Di Stefano's 17-goal mark in this fixture.

Real's last league defeat came against Atletico in February when Zinedine Zidane was settling into the Bernabeu hot seat.

Zidane's side have now gone 29 games unbeaten and they made the most of Barcelona's goalless draw at home to Malaga earlier in the day to extend their lead at the top.

Victory also took them nine points clear of Atletico and Diego Simeone's stuttering side have now lost three of their last four league games.

Real were without influential midfielders Toni Kroos and Casemiro, but apart from the opening exchanges the visitors dominated the first period.

Ronaldo almost put Real ahead with a towering 12th-minute header at the far post but Jan Oblak produced a brilliant save right on the goal line.

Oblak again showed his agility to deny Luka Modric's low drive but he was left helpless by Ronaldo's deflected free kick, which went in either off teammate Varane or Atletico defender Stefan Savic.

i

It was the first time Atletico had conceded at least one goal in five successive LaLiga games under Simeone, and the Argentinian was probably dismayed how impotent his side were as an attacking force.

Antoine Griezmann, passed fit before kickoff, had been an anonymous figure alongside Fernando Torres, who was starting only his second La Liga game of the season.

It almost got worse for Atletico when Ronaldo spun brilliantly on Isco's reverse pass to shoot straight at Oblak.

Simeone would have demanded a huge improvement at half-time and Atletico were immediately unrecognisable from the side which had been so passive in the first period.

Yannick Ferreira Carrasco almost conjured up a spectacular equaliser from 20 yards, his effort just clearing the angle of post and bar after Lucas Vazquez had dithered.

Then Griezmann suddenly came to life; striding on to a Koke pass to pull his shot across goal from a tight angle and then firing at Keylor Navas after more Real uncertainty.

But Real started to gain control again and Bale headed over before Oblak turned aside an Isco shot which may have been travelling wide of the post.

The game was put beyond Atletico when Savic curtailed Ronaldo's run into the penalty area, and the 71st-minute spot kick was dispatched with the minimum of fuss.

Ronaldo moved into double figures for the season six minutes later when Bale scampered down the left to set up the simplest of opportunities.

Bale was left in agony moments later when Juanfran appeared to poke him in the eye but, in truth, it was the only mark Atletico had left on Real.

Bayern's Mats Hummels wrong over Dortmund visit - Lothar Matthaus

Bayern Munich defender Mats Hummels was wrong to visit his former Borussia Dortmund teammates' dressing room before the Klassiker, according to Lothar Matthaus.

Hummels, 27, left Dortmund this summer to join their Bundesliga rivals for €35 million and was booed throughout the 1-0 defeat to his former club.

And Matthaus felt that the defender should have saved his prematch visit to Thomas Tuchel's squad for after the game.

"I would not forbid Mats Hummels if I was the present coach, but would suggest that [takes place] after the game," the Germany legend told Sky. "Before the game, the concentration should be on the game and not the old friendships."

Hummels told the Daily Mail in reply: "I don't care about criticism," before insisting that Bayern played well in defeat. "It won't be shown in the highlights, but we were finding good space and had we played diagonal passes at certain times, then we would have had more big chances."

Bayern are looking for their fifth successive Bundesliga title but sit behind surprise leaders RB Leipzig.

"FC Bayern is looking for its form," Matthaus added. "[They] lack fitness, joy and self-assurance. Many things that made them strong last year are missing here."

Tottenham Hotspur out of Champions League; Dortmund game sets record

Tottenham Hotspur crashed out of the Champions League as Monaco qualified from Group E with a 2-1 win at the Stade Louis II.

Spurs could have taken the lead after only seven minutes when Son Heung-Min evaded the offside trap but was denied by keeper Danijel Subasic, and within moments they were grateful to Hugo Lloris as he saved a Radamel Falcao penalty after Eric Dier had fouled Fabinho.

Monaco broke through in style just three minutes into the second half as Djibril Sidibe powered home a header, only for the Londoners to respond moments later when Dele Alli was fouled by Kamil Glik in the area.

Harry Kane smashed home the equaliser from the spot despite Subasic getting a touch, but within seconds the home side regained their lead as Djibril Sidibe played the ball across the area and Thomas Lemar found space to steer a low finish past Lloris.

Real Madrid won 2-1 at Sporting Lisbon to seal qualification from Group F thanks to a late Karim Benzema goal.

The Spanish side took the lead when Raphael Varane fired home after the Sporting defence had failed to deal with a free kick and Cristiano Ronaldo's deflected effort fell to him.

The home side were down to 10 men when defender Joao Pereira was shown a straight red card for a foul but levelled when Adrien Silva struck from the penalty spot with 10 minutes remaining after Fabio Coentrao was adjudged to have handled.

Benzema had the last word with time running out, heading home powerfully to wrap up the victory.

Borussia Dortmund and Legia Warsaw scored 12 goals between them to set a new Champions League record as the Bundesliga side won 8-4 in an astonishing game at the Westfalenstadion.

The visitors went in front when Aleksandar Prijovic produced an outstanding finish, but Shinji Kagawa quickly nodded an equaliser and then found space to fire the home team 2-1 in front.

It was 3-1 after only 20 minutes when goalkeeper Radoslaw Cierzniak punched a free kick straight at Nuri Sahin and saw the ball ricochet into the net, but the unmarked Prijovic restored hope with a low finish.

With half an hour gone, Dortmund regained their two-goal advantage when Ousmane Dembele struck, and moments later it was 5-2 when Marco Reus tapped home at the end of another slick attack.

The goals continued to flow after the break as Reus made it 6-2, Michal Kucharczyk made it 6-3, Felix Passlack struck again for the home side and then Nemanja Nikolic got the visitors' fourth. Reus completed his hat trick to provide the final flourish.

Leicester City sealed their place in the round of 16 and won Group G thanks to a 2-1 home victory over Club Brugge.

The Foxes went in front after five minutes with a superb goal made by Jamie Vardy and Christian Fuchs, who combined down the left for the latter to cross for Shinji Okazaki to produce a brilliant volleyed finish into the roof of the net.

They made it 2-0 before the break when Albrighton was tripped in the area and Riyad Mahrez fired home from the spot, but a superb solo goal by Jose Izquierdo halved the deficit early in the second half as he powered a finish past Ron-Robert Zieler.

Juventus came from a goal down to win 3-1 at Sevilla as they moved top of Group H and confirmed their place in the knockout stages.

Sevilla took an early lead, striking with nine minutes on the clock when defender Nicolas Pareja fired home a low volley from the edge of the area.

Juan Cuadrado saw his shot from an angle pushed away as Juventus tried to respond, with the Serie A champions struggling to create good chances against high-pressing opponents denying them time and space.

But Franco Vazquez was sent off after collecting two bookings before the break and Juventus then equalised from the penalty spot through Claudio Marchisio, whose effort went in despite goalkeeper Sergio Rico getting a hand to it.

With six minutes remaining Leonardo Bonucci put the visitors into the lead, and Mario Mandzukic sealed the victory when he fired home in stoppage time.

Lyon won 1-0 at Dinamo Zagreb after a game in which they had enjoyed the lion's share of chances.

The visitors dominated possession and threatened an early goal when Jordan Ferri's deflected effort came back off the crossbar and Mathieu Valbuena came close to breaking the deadlock shortly before half-time when his curling effort was well saved by Dominik Livakovic.

Zagreb hit back and were close to a leveller when Amer Gojak flicked a header wide of the target, but Lyon got the goal they deserved when Alexandre Lacazette found himself alone at the far post to tap home.

Porto missed the chance to get the win that would have confirmed their qualification when they were held to a 0-0 draw at Copenhagen in Group G.

The home side had the better of a goalless first period as their visitors lacked attacking ideas but were unable to take their opportunities, with Erik Johansson failing to convert two headed chances.

Andre Silva had a chance for Porto but, after cutting inside a defender, fired his effort wide, and the same player came close in the early stages of the second half when his shot after a goalmouth scramble was well saved by Robin Olsen as the visitors upped the tempo.

Bayer Leverkusen are through to the knockout stages after a 1-1 draw at CSKA Moscow in Group E.

Kevin Volland gave Leverkusen the lead in the 17th minute from close range after he was left unmarked at a free kick.

Leverkusen gave away a needless penalty when Benjamin Henrichs made a clumsy challenge on Mario Fernandes, but Bibras Natcho's 76th-minute goal wasn't enough to keep the fourth-placed Russian team's hopes of qualifying alive.

Barcelona, Man City advance to last-16 as PSG, Arsenal draw; Bayern stunned

Lionel Messi scored twice as Barcelona cruised into the Champions League round of 16 as Group C winners with a 2-0 defeat of Celtic in Glasgow on Wednesday.

Barcelona humiliated Celtic 7-0 in their first group encounter in September, with Messi scoring a hat trick in the one-sided match at the Camp Nou, and it was the Barca No. 10 who opened his side's account at Celtic Park, finishing off a sublime move from the Catalans on 24 minutes.

The five-time Ballon d'Or winner raced onto a sumptuous lobbed pass behind the defence from Neymar and lashed his first-time shot past Celtic goalkeeper Craig Gordon at the near post for a deserving 1-0 lead.

In the second half, Emilio Izaguirre pulled down Luis Suarez inside the Celtic box. Messi then stepped up to the spot and easily put Gordon the wrong way to hand Barca an unassailable 2-0 advantage.

The goal marked Messi's ninth in four Champions League matches thus far -- and 92nd overall -- placing the Argentine atop the competition's goal-scoring charts this campaign.

Messi nearly added a third in the 68th minute, but his right-footed shot slid just wide of the far post, but his effort was enough to ensure Celtic finish last in Group C.

Manchester City also advanced as Group C runners-up after a 1-1 draw against Borussia Monchengladbach, in a match that saw both sides finish with 10 men.

It was the hosts who struck first, Raffael firing home from the centre of the penalty area in the 23rd minute to give Gladbach an early 1-0 lead.

City would get back on level terms just before the break, though, as David Silva poked home from close range after Kevin De Bruyne played an incisive pass across the six-yard box.

Lars Stindl was sent off in the second half after receiving his second yellow card of the match for a hard foul on Nicolas Otamendi. Twelve minutes later, Fernandinho was shown his second yellow card for a foul on Raffael, leaving both teams to finish the match a man down.

Neither team could find the winner though, leaving City secure in second place behind Barcelona, while Gladbach move on to the Europa League.

Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain played out an entertaining 2-2 draw in Group A which leaves the top spot up for grabs going into the final round of fixtures in a fortnight.

Unai Emery's side controlled the early stages and deservedly opened the scoring in the 18th minute when Blaise Matuidi rolled Shkodran Mustafi and played a ball across the goalmouth for Cavani to slide home.

Arsenal looked out of sorts and failed to respond until the 45th minute when they won what looked like a fortunate penalty with Alexis Sanchez adjudged to have been brought down by Grzegorz Krychowiak, and Olivier Giroud converted from the spot.

The Gunners went in front on the hour mark, again in fortuitous circumstances, when Marquinhos' clearance hit Verratti and beat Areola from close range.

PSG refused to give in though and fought back into the game from a Hatem Ben Arfa corner. Moura pulled away from Carl Jenkinson at the back post to direct a header towards goal which was taken away from David Ospina by the head of Alex Iwobi.

As it stands Arsenal, who travel to Basel on Dec. 6, have to better PSG's result against Ludogorets in order to win the group. In the event of both teams having the same result, the Parisiens will top Group A due to a better head-to-head record because of their two away goals.

Kevin Gameiro and Antoine Griezmann scored as Atletico Madrid secured top spot in Group D with a 2-0 win over PSV Eindhoven.

Atletico found the breakthrough on a counter-attack in the 55th minute as Griezmann played in Gameiro with a through ball and his shot flew past goalkeeper Jeroen Zoet.

Griezmann doubled the advantage 11 minutes later, running onto a Tiago pass before beating Zoet at his near post.

The Spanish club were already through to the round of 16 alongside Bayern Munich, but the win secured first place thanks to the German champions' stunning 3-2 defeat away to FC Rostov.

Bayern took the lead on 35 minutes when the Russian side could only half-clear a ball in the box, and Douglas Costa slammed it into the roof of the net from 10 yards. But Rostov were back level just before the break when Serdar Azmoun dribbled around Jerome Boateng and fired past goalkeeper Sven Ulreich.

After the break, Philipp Lahm missed a gilt-edged chance to put Bayern ahead, and moments later Rostov took the lead through Dmitriy Poloz's penalty following Boateng's foul in the box.

It only took Bayern two minutes to equalise as Franck Ribery played in Juan Bernat to make it 2-2, but Christian Noboa's sharp free kick put the hosts ahead for good, earning them their first Champions League victory ever.

Cenk Tosun's amazing volleyed goal sparked a wild comeback as Besiktas fought from three goals down to salvage a 3-3 draw against Benfica in Group B.

The Portuguese side entered the game only a point ahead of their Turkish hosts but quickly took the advantage when Goncalo Guedes took a through ball at the top of the box and rounded goalkeeper Fabricio in the 10th minute.

Nelsinho doubled the lead on 25 minutes when he turned and fired a blast in off the woodwork from 20 yards. Six minutes later, Benfica hit the crossbar two more times and had a shot cleared off the line before Ljubomir Fejsa finally lashed home a third.

But Tosun started Besiktas' rally in the 58th minute with a scissor kick on the volley while falling away from goal, and Ricardo Quaresma's 83rd-minute penalty after Victor Lindelof's handball made it 3-2.

Vincent Aboubakar then turned in Quaresma's remarkable rabona cross in the 89th minute to keep Group B razor thin.

Napoli still lead Group B by one point after a goalless draw at home against Dyanmo Kiev, who saw their slim hopes to move on end and will finish last.

The Italian side are level on eight points with Benfica -- with the tiebreaker to be decided when they meet on Matchday 6 -- while Besiktas remain one point back in third but could still win the group.

The battle for third place in Group A will go down to the final matchday after Ludogorets Razgrad managed a goalless draw at home with Basel.

The teams are level on two points and if both have the same result in December, the Bulgarian club will earn the Europa League spot thanks to their away goal in the opening draw against the Swiss side in September.

Naby Keita got the visitors off to a flying start int the second minute with a fierce strike to the corner from 25 meters.
Florian Niederlecjner who hadn't defended well got the equalizer against the run of play.
Timo Stenzel restored the lead in the 21st minute and copperfastened it with his second a little over 10 minutes.
What is this team? Who are all these players?? Never heard of. but the top the German league with 6 points clear.
Can they do a Leicester? it will be more impressive judging that they are newly promoted and without big players.
What's is the odds for RB Leipzig to crown champion beginning of the season?

RB Leipzig have a young German star in their team named Timo Werner. They also signed the so-called "Scottish Gareth Bale", a guy called Oliver Burke. The club is sponsored by Austrian energy drink company Red Bull, hence they are rich to be able to spend on players and not liked in some quarters in Germany.

Man City go top with scrappy win

Man City went behind to Burnley but Sergio Aguero's brace saw them win 2-1. Dean Marney put Burnley ahead but two scrappy goals from Aguero at close range put Pep Guardiola's men back on top of the Premier League.

Even if they are rich, all the star players will not play for a team which is newly founded.
The coaches also have to be good.
I demand all their players go for urine/blood test.

Ok, if RB Leipzig win the Bundesliga this season, all their players will go for urine/blood test.
