Question ending with "kair" is a redundant word. Means a question ending with a sound effect
Eg like this like that = kum Yong kair
Without the kair is still the same thing I.e kum yong

It is also very normal and very common for Cantonese to say "air" while talking or responding to an interview. They can repeatedly say "air" in every responses and deem acceptable.
Whereas in other languages people will feel irritated when too many ehh ehh is heard.
