It's not going to happen. The social media is now full of 'likes' and sharing of various 'LKY Is A Great Man' type of videos and articles. This shows that PAP is still the most popular political party, and even in death, LKY will still continue to influence local politics at least one or two GEs. PAP built Singapore. If not for PAP's leadership, you can work hard all you wish, the country will still be as shitty as the Philippines or Vietnam or Bangladesh.
May not be as expensive and "developed", but with a significant number of the citizens who are of Chinese descent, I very much doubt that Singapore will be in the same category as the Philippines and Bangladesh.
