Absolutely agree. Another typical 大片of the same genre - after a while they look alike, sound alike with the actors speaking in a slo mo baritone, with over elaborate costumes and overdone 朝廷 set designs. And as hairylee says, China has a lot of great unknown actors. The same old faces bring with them the same old acting styles.
