Mahathir had live a long life, thanks to ALLAH, the ever merciful & compassionate. The purpose of his long life is to PROVE to Malaysians of the mistakes he made in his lifetime.
Most will not doubt he had a good heart to elevate the Malays thru affirmative actions, but it had not just proven that it created a CRUTCH mentality upon Malays, but also wealth & power - corruption of its leaders right down to its civil services - I was robbed not by gangsters even once but only by Malaysian police welding armed MP5 several times while in Malaysia...
Worse still is the use of religion, led by morons whose only answer is ' InshaAllah' ( Will of Allah ) for their predicaments, while those leaders & clerics retire to their luxurious homes while its citizens return to their hovels, filled with m&d when floods come, lack of sanitation & electrical services takes weeks for a repairman to appear.. Malaysians & even Indonesians are NOT Arabs, nor would be considered as such by Arabs except to be used & misused, but are Polynesians...
I was DEEPLY SHOCKED by the water supply in KL, even within a 5 star hotel. Brown water from taps, & wondered how even food can be served by such UNSANITARY water supply....
TREATED water is a luxury. No one unless the uneducated would drink directly from the river, where upstream, even dead carcasses of animals & even dead elderly Humans are thrown in, as the same in the Ganges River in India. Thus the high costs involved, which fortunately for Johor habitants, thanks to the Malaysia Singapore Separation agreement UNREVIEWED, they received clean treated water SUBSIDIZED by Singapore Taxpayers even in droughts.
Malaysia is our neighbor & will always be regarded as a friend. We will do what we can to foster the best relationships, but it takes two to clap, based upon REALITIES of win win for all, & not by demagoguery as Mahathir had done, whose long life is to prevent Martyrdom by ALLAH...a price he has to see for himself unblinkered by his often high pride & pay for the regression of Malays, for them to see for themselves with unblinkered eyes...
