Hi sir, can a smelly Lance corporal wear lumbar 1 for their wedding or only officer can wear ?
A smelly lance corporal has no business wearing a number 1 except on official duty. Any decent wife would be horrified at marrying only a lance corporal. The lance corporal should also shoot himself, or at least go on his knees and promise his wife he would work hard to get promoted to become a warrant officer.
Only commissioned officers should wear the number 1 for their wedding. They look dashing and promising in their fine uniform and swords.
Well, that Lance corporal is only serving NS. And could be from a well to do family. Since he also wear it during certain official nation events why can't he choose to wear it during his wedding.
Wedding is a personal affair, not official business.
Any sane groom would choose to wear his best on his wedding to impress his wife, her folks, friends and to tell the world that he is a promising husband. Flashing the rank of LCP in his number one is nothing but a disgrace. This is the SAF, not some other military. LCPs will only rise to CPL and retire as one. There's no future nor prospects in that. Any wife would be depressed to marry a loser that shouts to the world that he has little room for improvement. Better to just wear the usual groom's suit.
Only commissioned officers should wear the number 1 for their wedding. They look dashing and promising in their fine uniform and swords.
It's the correct gender for all SAF regulars!
they should allow this, and as the rank suggests, the guard of honour can consist of his comrades using lances instead of swords. any friends or relatives that are fatfugs, overweight and obese can always make up the butt party!A smelly lance corporal has no business wearing a number 1 except on official duty.
