revenge makes you feel even better...but in the end, you will end the victim of your own vengeful action....the boomerang will hit you doubly hard. do not seek revenge on anyone - deliberately. the pendulum will swing against you in mysterious ways! sure one! you can forgive.but don't seek revenge.you will only hurt yourself.

I sought revenge against many of those who have caused me physical, emotional or financial hardship. I've felt really good every time I've succeeded.

Will I end up dying a slow horrible death? Of course I will. The process has already started. However, I've seen many kind hearted, forgiving people end up the same way so I don't think I'll be any worse off for my behaviour.

At the end of the day, we all have to meet our makers so I might as well have as much fun as possible while I'm still able and making the lives of others miserable is one of my favourite activities.

I old uncle had suffered emotionally, physically, financially and socially because people simply took advantage of me. Some were deliberately vengeful. Some spiteful. Some simply to teach me a lesson for being disrespectful and young and angry and restless. Some condemned me to misery because on account of my words .On account of my damaging articles.Damaging and arrogant challenge. They took me and hanged me by the hook and by the book. I suffered. I endured. But I still survived although scarred.

Those who hanged me died a lonely pathetic death! I did not seek any form of revenge. But Heaven did it on its own way.In fact, nobody planned anything. You reap what you have sowed.

So Mr Boss, do not go about inflicting harm to people who have harmed you. They will be punished in some mysterious way. Take care Boss!

meeting our maker is one part of the story.....answering how you lived your life here will be another part. But again its just differences

in how we view things.

I'm already dying a slow lonely pathetic death so like I said I'm making the most of the time I have left doing the things that I enjoy.

It's too late to save me. You should turn your attention to those who are in a position to seek salvation.

[h=2]S’porean loses HDB after foreign wife runs away[/h] May 7th, 2012 | Author: Contributions

Billy (not his real name) is a 41 year old Singaporean male, who married a foreign spouse. After marrying him, she obtained permanent residency (PR) status.
Subsequently, she left Singapore on a flight to Los Angeles in 2007, and has not been contactable since. Her PR status has also lapsed.
As Billy has not been able to earn enough due to business failure to pay for his HDB 3-room resale flat mortgage, he has been served with a Notice of Vesting & To Take Possession.
The compulsory acquisition compensation at 90 per cent of valuation is $229,000.
However, according to Billy, the valuation for his flat is about $330,000, excluding cash-over-valuation (COV).
Since his wife is a joint tenant of the flat, he is unable to sell or rent out his flat. She did not contribute a single cent for the flat or the household expenses.
Despite numerous communications and appeals to the HDB, Legal Aid Bureau and his Member of Parliament (MP), his flat will now be repossessed on 16 May, as per the HDB’s final communication to him on 2 May.
Billy said “What’s the point of everybody keep asking me to appeal, when I always face rejection all the time?”
Because of the low acquisition compensation of $229,000, Billy is unable to buy even the cheapest resale 2-room flat in the open market.
If he can get his flat’s current valuation of about $330,000 plus COV, it is likely that he may be able to buy a resale 2-room flat.
Recently, Billy was denied his right to vote in the Home Improvement Programme (HIP) for his block, as the letter said that: “Please note that you are not eligible to vote because you are served the Notice of Intention due to mortgage arrears.” “However, you will be required to pay the cost of the HIP and LUP works if the poll for the HIP and LUP works are successful.”
.

Billy should have filed for divorce on the ground of desertion.

As for the flat, he could apply for the order that the flat be sold in the open market and that the Court is empowered to sign the documents in the wife's absence.

$330k is obviously before paying the debt owing to hdb.

But $229K is before or after deducting the debt owing to hdb?

This case cannot blame HDB, this guy got himself a dirty hole in the first place.
Anyway, the main reason he is losing his flat is not due to his missing spouse.
It's because he is unable to finance the loan....., but one thing i don't quite understand is why he is not allowed to sell it in the open market when HDB can take possession. Cos the joint-tenant is missing?

This is why LSH gets into trouble. He picks a case where no sane person will consider appropriate to blame the govt. There are many people like this chap who due to bad luck or poor judgement have fallen into bad times. They plead for help and compassion but don't demand anything.

This is not even a FT issue. Wives have left hubbies in bad times and these things will continue to occur.

It does explain why holding the local record for having the most advanced cache of high valued educational qualifications, its proper application still escapes him.

There was no indication when he took possession of the flat and how long did he occupy it. Only after 5 years are you allowed to sell to the open market subject to HDB approval. In normal cases they will not object unless there is a problem such as in this case probably. If the flat was not occupied for 5 years, the flat must be sold to HDB for resale.
