instead of jumping in sequence with a longer interval should have just jump off in quick succession from the rear of a c-130. that way, last man is not too way off the target at the drop zone. in fact for this ndp drop it was not a zone but a spot. the best jumper was the last man out. way off vertical drop, thus he had to compensate by cumming at a sharp angle at considerable speed. kudos to him for landing on his spot, albeit with a thud and tumble.

Same as our ministers, they are the elite of the elites, best of the best, so they deserve to draw high salary. But, they are not allowed to make any mistakes, even a very minor one.

The kind of parachute that he was using, allows precision maneuver, so he did very well to land on the spot he was required to. However, there's a price to pay if the conditions are not favorable.

NSF commandos who jumped before know that if he simply bochup about the landing spot, he wouldn't crashed so badly.

Wind conditions change constantly, even within seconds. Any seasoned parachutist will tell you each jump is a new jump as nature environmental conditions are not the same every moment, let alone per day.

Any citizen can aspire to be a Red Lion, but will have to have the physical & mental aptitude to pass the selection test & then go on to Airborne school for rigorous ground trainning.

Landing safely is only one aspect of parachutist training. Leaping out of a moving plane at 10,000ft with just a piece of cloth is another.

For a sense of scale, at that height, one can only see buildings, & cars the size of ants.

Some trainees standing at the edge of the aircraft would refused to jump & had to be escorted by the shoulders back to his seat as his knees had became soft & too weak to even walk.

Others who jump off will have to maintain stability immediately-hands & legs wide open to trap air as resistance to gravity. If not, one would tumble & roll uncontrollably falling at 9.8m2/sec from 10,000ft to 3000ft, & when he pulls the ripcord to open the chute, he would only entagle himself & the chute wrapped around him unable to open, falling straight to the ground.

Airborne School is designed to help you pass, so long as you have the right focus, physical & mental aptitude as a newbie to a graduate. You can only fail yourself.
