i thought we are already in recession. My friends working in PSA feedback less containers coming in to port.
that's what many people feel. but officially we are not. the pap has not admitted it

Of course PAP will not announced it officially.Technically, we are in recession.A lot of drivers driving the lorry in PSA were laid off .So from there we can know.
The pap-smear white scums will continue sugarcoating their lies to justify their high pay and pay-rise.
Official statistics from sinkapore is no different from that in China; they are always fudged. You look at other seemingly unrelated data to figure out what is really happening.
yes..while waiting for offical announcement, many singaporeans can see and tell a recession except some dumb ones who are wet behind their ears
yes...and some gullible singaporeans will believe the pap despite many sources saying otherwise
that's what many people feel. but officially we are not. the pap has not admitted it
the ground feelings dont match what the pap says
Please lah, this is only coffeeshop chitchat and not serious. Why not point out who in this thread are those who are gullible and dumb. Anyone here who has disagreed with you that Singapore is heading for a recession in 2013? Anyone?
all nosense... they' re getting an increment across the board + other goodies.. stupid!!!
If you and your family members have to live through a recession, just remember that the ministars you voted for will essentially have recession-proof lifestyles.
as i've posted earlier on another thread, sg will continue on her growth curve with a solid domestic and regional economy despite the effects of the u.s. and european economies. the port and keppel shipyard will move to tuas, opening up a sizable valuable seafront real estate for capital investment and property development. this process will take at least 10 years to reach fruition, and this is enough buffer for any recessive hiccups on the western front. moreover, the lng market will shoot thru' the roof for at least the next 10 years as countries are rethinking the nuclear option.
PAP m'farkers don't have feeling. They get the grassroots to feel and report only what they want to hear.
