A PREGNANT Indonesian maid killed herself by jumping from an 18th-floor window after her married boyfriend refused to stop seeing another girl in Batam, an inquest heard on Monday.
Ms Anis Dwi Rianawati, 29, is believed to have leapt from the kitchen window of her employer's flat on Oct 24.
The alarm was raised after the employer's wife realised the maid was missing from her bedroom at about 8am and found her wallet, jewellery and some notes on her bed, a coroner's court heard.
Realising they were suicide notes, she told her husband, who called the police.
The maid's body was found on a second-floor parapet shortly afterwards.
A week earlier, Ms Anis had told her employer that she was pregnant and would work for another two to three months before quitting.
