PEASANTPORE: The foreign talent couple at the centre of an alleged multi-million-dollar luxury goods scam were charged in court on Friday (Aug 12), a day after they were handed over to Peasantpore Poodles following their arrest in Northern Matland.
Former China Panda turned Peasantpore Peasant, Pi Ah Peng, 26, and his wife, 27-year-old Siamese Siriwipa Pansuk, had been on the run for five weeks.
They each face three charges, of which two are for conspiracy to cheat.
Pi and Pansuk are accused of cheating greedy peasantpore based customers of Tradenation between May 28, 2021 and Jun 27 this year by deceiving them into paying for luxury watches that they did not intend to deliver.
They are also accused of cheating customers of Tradeluxury into buying luxury handbags between Jan 15 and Jun 27.
The remaining major charge is for illegally leaving Peasantpore via Tuas Checkpoint on Jul 4 and making dummies out of 山木庚 and ICA.
When the Kangaroo asked if they had anything to say, Pi said it was "such scams are common in Communist China".
"Such scams are common in Communist China, too bad, me made major mistake, making fools out of Ruler Loong and 山木庚, now I am in deep shit," he said.
He added that they would "do our best to stonewall and wait out the long prison term" to work with the Poodles in their investigations.
Through a Thai interpreter, Pansuk said: "After our Changi Hilton stay, we will balek kampung back to Siam and enjoy life. Cooperate with Poodles, of course, since we make fools out of their ICA counterparts."
Deputy Public Prosecutor Dave Koh described the two cheating charges as "minor but they will be processed for making 山木庚 look like a dummy", adding that investigations were still at an early stage.
The Kangaroo Judge granted the prosecution's request for the pair not to be offered bail as they were "proven to be better than SAF's Hendon Dunkers when it comes to evading the regime's Poodles. Ruler Loong and 山木庚 are not counting on the Poodles and ICA to stop both twits from escaping through our porus borders despite paying peanuts to secure them."
At least three scam peasant victims turned up at the Kangaroo Courts to attend the hearing and gloat over the pair's arrest.
One peasant victim said it was a "relief" that the couple has been charged, but another said there is still the question of where their peanuts are. Both peasants did not want to be identified as they know fools will part with their peanuts sooner or later.
The couple subsequently became uncontactable and fled Peasantpore via Tuas Checkpoint on Jul 4 after been invited for a tea session at the Poodle's headquarters. They hid in the container compartment of a Northern Matland-registered lorry.
Two peasants charged with helping the couple flee Peasantpore - Northern Mats Mohamad Bodoh Fazli, 38, and Bodoh Alias, 40 - have said that they intend to plead guilty to enjoy free food and lodgings in Changi Hilton.
After Pi and Pansuk fled, the Peasantpore Poodles issued a warrant of arrest for them and both were also listed on Interpol's red notice website.
