They shouldn't have closed Alexandra Hospital so soon while the new hospital is just operational and sorting out its issues.

Jurong Health (the healthcare group owning the NTF Hospital) must have had some business agreement with Sengkang Health (the new owner of Alexandra Hospital).

AH was NTF hospital lah. NTF hospital only use the AH premises while the NTF was being built. NTF open behind schedule in the first place. Sengkang hospital was set up, I think at least 2 years back so SKH need the AH premises asap to get their own medical teams up asap in time for SKH completion in 2018. Without a premise, SKH cannot recruit doctors, nurses and other medical personnels and get them to work as a team in time for SKH completion. if I not mistaken, SKH also consist of nursing / elder home. So they will need massive number of medical personnel to run their whole operation.

CHAS card got different colour, you will be asked, 1 person to 1 person tent, 5 persons to 1 tent, or 50 persons to 1 tent...that depends on the different colour for different grades...then further filtered into Pioneers, 60, under 55 & so forth...it will be so complicating that, you wished they ask you, would you like to go directly to Mandai, without having to spend your money here.... but then again you go there, simple cremation in card box, without any religious personnel, etc...& then again, type of urn, low quality china, chinoiserie urn, good quality ceramics, gold, or titanium etc..
