Singapore is the only place in the world that 'celebrate' the 7th month to such an extent. Apart from all these dinners and concerts, almost every family will burn joss papers and have prayer sessions for the good brothers/ancestors. Companies will set up their own prayer tables on the ground floor for the good brothers. Even Ang Mo also join in the prayers.

Also wrong, a good gauge would be to see how often a number come up. Usually, thats the organisers.
