Obama's Approval Rating: 67%

WASHINGTON D.C. - President Obama is still getting high marks for his on-the-job performance in the White House.
A CNN/Opinion Research survey finds two out of three Americans approve of the way Obama is carrying out his work as President.
His approval rating was at 67 percent.
While that remains high, it is down nine points from the most recent CNN survey conducted earlier this month.
Most of that decline was due to falling Republican support.
Obama's approval among GOP party members went from 50 percent in early February to the current 31 percent.
Among Obama's fellow Democrats, his approval dropped from 96 percent to 92 percent.
Independents are still giving the President a thumbs up at 61 percent, down six points from earlier this month.
Other results of the poll determined six in ten Americans support the economic stimulus package signed into law by Obama Tuesday.
A slight majority say they believe the stimulus plan will help put the economy back on a sound financial track.
Forty-four percent don't have any faith in the package while 31 percent believe the plan will help their personal financial situation.
Two out of three don't think they will derive any personal benefit from the stimulus package.
Support for the plan fell solidly along party lines.
The poll found nearly nine in ten Democrats are in favor of the measure while three-quarters of Republicans were opposed to it.
