Look at the mess Thailand is in now and in Taiwan and Malaysia.
Their MPs are more interested in making money than to care for the people who voted for them.

Though the system is not perfect, at least it works. We have PAP MPs who are active on the ground to listen to the complaints of residents and ministers who are qualified to run the country.
Perhaps we need a stronger opposition to check on the PAP. I think around 10to 15 opposition MPs will be enough. Anything more will affect the government's functioning.
WP is ready to serve the role of this constructive opposition. It is our fortune to have the PAP as the government and WP as the opposition.
