This is the kind of people running our country.

It's the mentality that kills. This idiot is not even in the upper echelons of the govt and he's talking like this. And the problem we have now is, even the HODs and senior executives in the stat boards and GLCs are behaving likewise.:oIo::oIo:

I think the term "lesser mortals" is extremely inappropriate. MP Chong should have used the term "Sinkie peasant scum".

Kaka has rejected the offer from Man City. I presume greater mortals will consider him stupid and foolish. My gut feeling is that both Charles and Tan might jump ship if they were offered this kind of pay since both are from the world of "Gods". In any case...kudos to Kaka...he's my idol.

Considering 13 months of remuneration...that's a whopping $27K per month! Wat's the average age of SR4 officer? Baring lawyers, doctors and private bankers, the only persons I can think of getting this kind of pay is if you are a senior director in a MNC or being your own boss. Most "lesser mortals" can neber imagine having that amount cash into his/her bank account monthly. Little wonder the life of greater mortals is beyond wat we can fathom. God blessed!
