It is interesting how desperate
Sulaiman Daud is to promote these so called female candidates as future PM that he's citing all sorts of inconsequential things as achievements from these ladies.
Josephine Teo - First minister who anchored & won a GRC
LOL. 65% vote in an old pro-PAP estate against a joker opposition party is somehow a lioness feat. If she can stand in East Coast and get 65% against a Team B WP candidates then it would be something worth mentioning. As things stand, any PAP minister (female or male) being put at the helm of Jalan Besar GRC will get approximately the same results, there is nothing worth mentioning here. Let's not even get into the massive COVID infection screw ups due to neglect of the dorms under her care.
Grace Fu - First female minister who helms two different ministries
Yep and the ministries like he mentioned are Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth and Minister for Sustainability and the Environment. These are some of the least important ministries in any country, including Singapore.
Indranee Rajah - Parliamentary combatant
This one even worse, because no proper portfolio and only real deal is a 2nd minister position that the author has to cite her speaking out in parliament as some sort of crowning achievement. Debating the opposing side (WP) in parliament is bread and butter job of any MP from PAP, why is that even worth mentioning and more importantly how is that supposed to be some sort of stand out pitch to be PM?
