Man arrested for breaking into Sentosa restaurant

SINGAPORE: A 51-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly breaking into a restaurant in Sentosa.
Police said they were notified on Sunday at around 1.30pm of the break-in and the loss of about S$1,000 from the cash register of the restaurant.
The suspect is believed to have gained entry into the restaurant through the rear window.
Following investigations, the suspect was arrested on Monday at 4.50pm at Potong Pasir Avenue 1.
The suspect will be charged in Court on Wednesday for Housebreaking and Theft by Night and can be jailed up to 14 years.
