TAIPEI: Lai Ching-te, the presidential candidate for Taiwan’s ruling party, won an election today that China had framed as a choice between war and peace.
The candidate for Taiwan’s main opposition party the Kuomintang (KMT), Hou Yu-ih, conceded defeat in the election.
Taiwan is already a sovereign state, only the truly low IQ ones believe the gaslighting by the Chicoms.

Taiwan will have a hung parliament for the first time since 2008, based on latest available numbers on the legislative elections held concurrently with the presidential polls on Saturday (Jan 13).
In the 113-seat legislative assembly, the ruling DPP and the opposition KMT have fallen short in securing the 57-seat majority, each getting only 36 district seats and up to 13 legislators-at-large. With no single party getting a parliamentary majority, the onus will then be on the TPP on who it would work with, say analysts.
