Thanks for the lead. But I will need official confirmation from the customs or police before taking it across the causeway again because getting into trouble with the law for bubble gum will be really stupid. If they just confiscate the stuff, that's okay, but imagine having to go the station, make a statement, and then having to appear in subordinate court for this "offence" is ridiculous. Will check this for sure when I chance to meet someone in the right position to advise.

Cheers!

You're allowed gum for your own personal consumption.

To make it really a local dish, should use mudskipper for the fish. Very apt too, some people call mudskipper "jumping Johnny!"

Cheers!

not salmon. sg waters are too warm for salmon to breed. salmon exists from russian far east to california coast in the north pacific and in scandinavian waters in the north atlantic.

the sinkie tossing of fish slices is to aerate the fish in order to mask the chow chee bye smell of sinkie women who have yeast infection. it's a unique innovative wasteful culture. it proves sinkies are wealthy and ready to spend and spoil themselves.

Misconception that if you are a gum freak, personal consumption's ok. On technical side, it's only "medicinal" gum.

Question of enforcement, really
