that means you can be harrass by debt collectors at your office or home and also be sued (legal fees bore by you)

from a business perspective view ..the reason why those legal Ah long prefer weekly payments because their target is those uncle , auntie having small time business such as coffeeshop , wet market , hawkers ...ect . because those ppl have money coming in daily . many of those group of ppl sometimes need cash to roll . and those group of ppl have the ablity to go for weekly payments .

Ah longs used to have daily payments also........known as 'duck loans'........specifically target such borrowers with daily income.......no one does it anymore.....ah longs across the causeway still do it.

bro...im not with them ..but put it this way , if you just start up company of course you need some advertisements to let ppl know .

i read those advertisements in this way .


the greater the number of

attract you to their office . Once there , they will ask you to take weekly loan

and sign all type of undertaking to make sure you pay .

I singapore bank could ; our bank could learn a few trick here and there

my take is that about 20 % of borrowers know the

consequences . The rest 80 % of the borrowers do not

know . Those suckers also make sure that , they hope ,

100 % do not know . So that the moment they missed a

payment these suckers go into overdrive in theirs

harassment tactics . And all sort of lates fees ( some

of which even the banks should learn from them come

into play ) . The next trick is that the borrower will

receive sms from other "meat" seller asking for

business . The borrower will then sink deeper and deeper

into this black hole .

and the number is ever growing by the month or maybe week . You can even set

up one in singapore from japan ( using the internet ) and appointment me to

there are more than 200 plus licensed Moneylenders in Sinapore i am

not surprised even if half of them are front by

his runners and or associates . What kind of business in Singapore

other than buying and selling of pte properties /hdb flats can attract
