Why suddenly influx of lawyer letters to Richard Wan, face of TRE?

is it becoz KNN after 2011 election, PAP govt wanna start screwing Singaporeans ass by increasing costs of living, no ang pow budget talk and all fuck things coming up, and suddenly this TRE comes out thinking will screw WP but back fired. WP sacked Yaw and now PAP faced a by-election which PAP will definitely lose again within a short span of time. KNN Richard Wan gave so much crap to LHL and now he is getting the heat from PAP?

Lee Hsien Yang sends lawyer letter to TR Emeritus”

This is to confirm that Mr Lee Hsien Yang has sent a lawyer’s letter to TR Emeritus (TRE), asking it to remove an allegedly defamatory comment posted by one of TRE reader about him.

This case is different from the one initiated by PM Lee Hsien Loong. In PM Lee’s case, TRE has made a serious error by allowing a defamatory article submitted by a contributor to be published on TRE. TRE is truly sorry for the mistake and has unreservedly apologised to PM Lee for the distress and embarrassment caused to him by the false allegation in the article.

In the case of Mr Lee Hsien Yang, a TRE reader had left a defamatory remark about him in the comment section for one of TRE articles late last month. Generally speaking, when a complaint is received by TRE about a comment, TRE will normally comply and delete it. However, Mr Lee Hsien Yang is making more demands than the normal demand of simply removing the offending comment.

TRE Editors felt that acceding to all the demands of Mr Lee Hsien Yang will seriously make running TRE site difficult in future. Hence, we are seeking legal counsel this time.

TRE has appointed Human Rights lawyer M. Ravi to handle this particular case.

It should imitate the Japanese sense of shame and commit online "suicide", i.e. shut down its website.
