MINISTER Mentor Lee Kuan Yew has never been to North Korea and he has no desire to.

This candid statement drew laughs from the ballroom full of delegates at the Asian Pacific Economic Cooperation (Apec) CEO Summit.

MM Lee said this when asked if North Korea is the biggest uncertainty in the region during a dialogue session chaired by Time International Editor Michael Elliott.

He added that while North Korea is a worry for South Korea, it would not affect the way Asia develops.

The old man does not want to visit Korea because there is too much competition there against him, with his fellow dictator Kim.

However, the little red dot will have no qualms in accepting money laundering and other dirty money from any source, including Korea. Money from Burma, Zimbabwe, China, Russia and Indonesia have all found a safe and nice home here, since banking laws here are even more secret than the Swiss.
