Should be Alan Photo. Alan Photo is one of the most reputable and cheapest camera shops here. They have another shop in Funan. Some of the salesman look like ah beng but they ok one. Used to buy from this golden hair ah beng in their Funan shop who always give me "brother price" and even stopped me a few times from buying cameras/lenses which he think are not good.

The very fact that you have admitted that they had given you a 'brother price' means that their retail prices were elastic on a whim, and they wouldn't hesitate to also give 'carrot head' prices to certain target customers.

These cases should be classified as cheating and prosecution of the blatant cases would send a strong signal. Though locals don't fall victim to it, it makes us all look bad.

The authorities would serve society better if they went after these thugs rather than people expressing their concerns on the internet.

I think STB, together with CASE, various travel agencies and merchant associations, are in cahoots.
