So now you see how importance the right to assembly is? The 600 should thank Chee and his activists for bringing about this positive change to S'pore.

dun put chee's "achievements' too highly. he has yet to earn the respect of all singaporeans, all he did is earning their wits.

SDP members and their supporters have such strong conviction that they are fighting for their belief and for the betterment of future Singaporeans whether the majority or even, you, see it or not, it is not important. The importance is to bring change to the current NATO (No Action, Talk Only) PAP, what economic help package ? While they give pittance assistance, they ripped more for themselves with justifications. These ministers are winning snowballed TOTO draw prizes yearly while we have to contend with price hikes immediately after every erection..... er...oops,, election.

The PAP can't rule through fear alone. It is also smart to co-opt "credible" opposition like WP to be their subsidiary so that those who dislike them can find an outlet to vent their frustration.

Singaporeans have their own set of rights confer by the constitution. PAP should amend the constitution if it believes that civil and political rights should not be given to S'poreans.
We should ask what is your real motive and hidden agenda for smearing Chee and his activists.
Chee and his activists are happily fighting for their political beliefs and convictions. It seems that only you and your coterie are unhappy that Chee and his activists are making progress in pushing for a more open society.
