Commonly heard Singaporean's dilemma :
1) country too small, universities not so famous compare with australia, only liveable city is auckland, other cities are too kampung.
2) Houses in auckland too expensive, new houses scare of leaky homes problem, weatherboard houses (wooden) too much maintainence, bricks and tiles built in 70s too old fashion. New bricks and tiles too pricy.
May be wait a bit longer, price will drop.
3) schools in nz too slow, children not getting challenges enough, next time can't compete with friends' children in singapore
4) wife moves to nz first and can look after children, husband later, cos husband difficult to get job here in nz.
